I tried getting a girl into a 06 civic ex coupe. She even had some moeny down. Couldnt get payments lower then 350...

i owe money on my neon but at the last couple dealers i was gettin exactly what i owe as a trade inraul-01 wrote:Get an OMNI and build it up! Youa re looking for a daily driver? Not really a hardcore Dodge person are you? Since you are looking at Hondahs. Do whatever you feel like doing, just look at all the possible options.
How much do you owe on your car? Cause if you still owe on it I can see why you are wanting to get another car. If you don;t owe anything, then use that money to turbo it and make it fast.
Plus you live in PA, seems like everything good thats forsale is outa that state IMO.
and i have already owned three dodges....dunno i'm lookin for a little change of pace

The neon is a good car the engine is nice. Its the ECU that is retarded IMO.
You add something it subtracts something. You subtract something it adds something.
It seems at least to me most other car stuff can remapped, modfiyed or whatever.
We on the other hand have a 286 with no A drive

Vdub = Expensive upkeep and care! Just somethign to think about.
I have gone from Honda to Nissan to Chevy to Suzuki to Ford to Mazda to Ford to Pontiac to Dodge/Chevy/Hyundai (My last three, still own the Dodge and Hyundai). I will say that I am more impressed with my wife's Elantra than I am of my Dodge. The dealership is EASY to work with when you have a problem, which I only had one, MAJOR problem (crank walk
) but it was fixed in a week, no questions, free from ANY charges, even gas on the free rental. Plus the gave us a new 100k/10yr warranty on the brand new engine. So I have an 03 car with an 06 engine in it.
Personally, if you are looking for something fun, I would go with an 02-03 Civic EX 2dr. Even the LX 5spd is a fun to drive car, and you have the backing of the tuner world with lots of support. Just my opinion.
I know you can find either of those cars with decent milage and get payments as low as $200/mth <- I did, even lower actually, but wife flipped on me, so I backed out.
(but I still have a great car
)
Good luck!
