thank you silveres, i looked in to his posts over here all 22 of them and every one has something smart in it like he is trying to start something, and he knows why he got the pm.

you keep calling me a kid yet im older than you. why are you continuing this you already said you did not like 2gn. so why r you here? how did i drag 2gn in to this? i posted a link to my gripe thread. so what. and if your topic gets removed here the admins/mods have the common courtisy of pming you and letting you know why.

I can't even get started on this topic, because the few times I've been over there I can't believe the responses I've seen from the "members". Seems like the moderating priorities are a little off.

The org has a lot of problems. Moderators, members and so on. I think it's time some of the older guys resign and get some new blood in who haven't "seen it all." But the org has one really good thing going for it, an awesome flow of information. If you can manage to figure out the search feature, you really have a powerful too at your finger tips.

I know exactly why the older people like this place better, and I actually did a lot of lurking, but the 2gn vs. org is what pushed me away. When I first came to the org the camp wars kept me from registering for over a year. When we created neonites it was neonites vs. the org the same as the darkside. We are all the same community and all of the pages have something to offer if they would stop trying to one up each other.

I didn't blame anything on you. You were comparing 2gn to the .org and I just helped continue that comparison. I just think it's weird that you are becoming what you argue with.

I'm not saying who is in the right or wrong in this situation, because I honestly don't give a damn, I'm just pointing out generalities like yourself. It would be better for both boards if talk of the other just stayed out of everything. However, seeing as the .org has built up quite the reputation there are many people who have strong feeligns against it. Naturally this is going to cause the .org to not like 2gn, but if it is so much more mature over there this shouldn't be a problem.

I agree, there will always be a split in the neon community for the exact reason I mentioned. The .org has pushed many people away because of the moderation staff. The .org would do better off as a private chat forum for the old timers.

agreed(with sweet corn). now what i did was stupid i already e-mailed the proper person. but was it realy nessasary (sp) fo you to come here and start something?

I believe this was stated in a previous post, but typically when these subjects come up, it's taken care of right away. Yeah the org does have alot of information, but if someone doesn't know how to use the search function they get flamed for it. That generally turns people away.

I can see your points, and I'm surprised this thread has lasted this long already.

Now if I were to say that the org was a mature place, we would all have a good laugh. My chief complaint was the need to have the threads about why the org is so terrible and why this place is worlds better. I have never said this is a bad place, and I never will.

I understand where you are coming from when you say I am the last person who should be bringing this up. And I agree with you, but I am doing it anyways, it's my style.

I understand why people are flamed for posting certain things. I feel the administration could work harder to prevent that sort of thing, but I believe most of them are burned out and just don't care anymore.

Like Chris said, the org would be a better place if the old timers could just have their own private forum. And they do, it's very exclusive, and I'm sure they enjoy it.

everyone has valid points.. even I think its dumb for what I hear people getting banned for and I get a laugh about it. I'm not going to list things b/c it won't change a thing. we are 2gn... they are neons.org and all ill say is like everyone has said, the moderation on there has some mixed priorities and I do think a lot of the old time moderators are getting burnt out on running it. I agree, probably should turn it over to some fresh blood but like I said, me saying that won't change a thing. how we feel we should run 2gn is how we like it and how they want to run neons.org most of their members like it. can't please everyone right? I do get a laugh out of things that hapen over there and in talking to someone on here that is also part of the staff over there, they have done some house cleaning to help the place out. I will agree though that when threads like this pop up every now and then it doesn't help us out on the maturity level. yah it fun to point the finger and laugh sometimes but sometimes its better to just walk away.
