Yes, he is indeed scary. I don't what the real back-story is around him, I haven't started there yet. But if you ignore the scary old fart, Menards is the best home improvement/construction retailer out there. Now I'm biased, cause they just hired me, but I honestly think it is. It's not national, only in the midwest and upper midwest. I'll be a manager in the building materials department.

I guess you could call it that. Most hardware stores don't sell 20'x50' buildings, hot tubs, or 50' long LVL beams for commercial construction. What I'm saying is, it's alot more than a hardare store. Physically, you could put TWO super walmarts inside the building I'll be working in. It's a big place.
