Just outta curiosity: 56k or high speed

Post by ilpadrino » Mon Sep 04, 2006 4:15 pm

I notice on all the forums everyone always mentions that 56k users should stay away from that particular thread because it'll take too long to load. It dawned on me while at work (that's how bored I am):

who is still actually on 56k? I wonder what the number is--just outta curiosity. I know some areas don't offer high speed connections but still.

It never made sence to me to have a "56k eat shit" or whatever everyone says. If you are making a picture post, most 56kers realize they are not going to be able to hang. There is no need for a warning.

But for the poll, now a days barely anyone has 56k. High speed serves me well.

Now you realize the brilliance of this thread!

muahahaha

Seriously, though, from this point forward, the next person that starts a picture thread with a 56k warning, will get :banned:. We've done the research ;).
