Bum night....

Went to Hastings to rent a movie. Couldn't find anything good. Stopped at Fazoli's for drive-through. Wife accidentally dropped half a Coke all over the center console, shifter, etc. Pulled over and spent 10 minutes trying to clean it all up before it dried. Pulled up to stoplight on way home. 2006 Mustang GT convertible pulled up next to me. Old fart driving, listening to Rob Thomas. He wanted to race. I didn't even look at him as he took off so fast in 2nd gear that I looked like I was standing still. Damn my car is slow.

Just laugh at that guy...thats like a pro boxer beating up some kid in high school. He needs to race people he knows he might lose to.

Or he could come up to someone like Jason and not know that it is a sleeper that could give him a run for his money...

Yeah, I know. I didn't even try, I just took of completely normal, cause there was no point. He was probably having his mid-life crisis and had to feel macho.
Someday my car will be able to pace or beat a new V8 car...but I've got alot to do still. But, that's where the fun lies.

I was ready to start my own thread because of this:
On my way home from work the other day, from behind, on the passenger side, i heard this guy pull up, revving the engine to high hell as he rolled in neutral.
I said, fuck him, I ain't gonna let him in (after the light, the road merges into one lane).
He timed it perfectly so that as the light turned green, he would put it in gear and zoom by.
He did it that all right--with a Ferrari. On top of that, he was like 50, white hair, balding.
I was in awe of the car and laughing hysterically because he was an old guy in the midst of a midlife crisis.
