So… needless to say I had an interesting weekend. It was too damned interesting actually. Right now, my girlfriend of almost 2 years is threatening to kick my ass out right now. We had a nice long talk after I didn’t come home till 6 am Saturday morning after a night out with a local band that I’m friends with…(First time either of us had ever had a “night apart” to.)

She says I have about two weeks to change otherwise I’m getting the boot… ugh. I can’t afford to get an apartment by myself, and everyone here in Toledo that I meet is through her… and that’ll just be awkward. I can’t move back home either because it’s an hour and a half drive to work then one way.

Time to start kissing some ass, or getting rid of my car ASAP.

Blah.

thankfully i haven't done much ass kissing lately... although, she said that was sort of the problem.
(I hadn't done to much lately becuase of my suspicions that she was cheating on me... but that made no sense becuase we live and work together.)

Totally stop by some place and get her a card and some flowers, THEN take her out to eat. I mean if you seriously even think you love this girl then prove it to her. Come up with some stuff to totally make her know it, there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, what woman doesn't want to feel like she's the queen of the planet. Good luck man....and for the love of god she would have to be real good at cheating if you two live and work together, so stop freakin

yea... i might be doing that as well
but i had suspecions for about two months. our sex life just DIED... i mean... only once every 2 weeks. i figured SOMETHING was wrong there... that was a little before we started working together.

Gee dont sound so excited about taking your girlfriend out to dinner. Girls arent stupid...sometimes. I absotely hate it when guys I dated did something just to shut me up, or just to 'kiss my ass' to make something up to me. I know they didnt really mean it. I mean, this was of course in the past, but I knew they didnt want to do it just to be happy, they just wanted to shut me up. Hence why Im not w/ them anymore.

You dont sound happy at all about making your girlfriend happy. I understand every relationship is different, and you have suspisions of her cheating, but Its IMO that you should WANT her to be happy. not dread the fact that you have to go out of your way to do something.

And grow up. You stay out till 6am, you're in the wrong. Dont get all upset about her being mad at you. How would you feel if she went out with some friends and didnt come home until after dawn the next day?

Show some respect, get some respect. You should have came home sooner, or atleast called her a couple times though out the night to let her know everything is ok. Im sure at this point shes got HER suspicions now about where your wang is getting parked.

Well here... since I'm already getting my ass handed to me by the females on here... I'll tell the rest of the story.

We had originally decided to go out with our own friends becuase frankly, we've never spent a night apart like that. She had called me at 2 am telling me she was going to be home soon... I said ok, I'll be home in a couple of hours, then she hangs up on me. I get a little upset about that one. (We agreed to stay out late for gods sake)

She called me back at 4 am... about 10 times or so. I didn't have my phone near me, so I didn't know it was ringing. When I finally checked it, I had voice mail. I listened to it... and she says get home soon becuase we need to "talk".

I call her, and she's pissed... I say I'll be home in about an hour and a half (I was an hour away) She says either get home SOON or I can start moving my shit out. I think what the hell?

So I sober up, and get on my way... I get pulled over by a michigan cop while I was lost becuase of my blue neon license plate frame. She does a background check, and tells me how to get back to Toledo. I call my g/f to let her know what happened and that I'd be a little later than expected... she hangs up again.

I get home around 6 am... go to bed. She wakes up at 8pm the next day after all her denist stuff she went though... we talk and come to an agreement. (I'm not going through our conversation though... that's a bit to personal) Needless to say, she says either I start to change who I am (generally) or she's kicking me out.



And yes... I just bought my car in april or may....

WOW. One point, and this IS a stick up for the guys. I do not like the idea of an ultimatum- ie, YOU change, or else. Why not a compromise? Why not look at the fact that BOTH of you may have issues that need to be worked out? Why can it not be BOTH of your problems. Now, I am not getting down on either of you, but I have been in just this situation, and my wife and I (yes both) have always ended up in a compromise of some sort. Sorry, but it is a tow way street, not one. Ok, rant off.

She generally pays for the crap we do... while i spend all my hard cash on my car. She's the man in the relationship when it comes to spending money when we go out!

GET A LAWYER, GET IT IN WRITING. Look, right now, you need to make sure you get it all legally settled, and do it through a lawyer, do it behind her back, do it right, do not get surprised, do it to protect yourself - if not, she me be foolin' you and looking to SCREW you. Please, for love of God, get a lawyer - protect youself. Be smert, do not trust her, only watch out for your own interest right now - ok?
