what about a spun bearing

hey well i can pick up my friends 97 eclipse that runs but the mechanic told her it spun a rod bearing....i can pick up this car for 750 it looks amazing...and it will run all over my town (for now)... the question is im trying to learn about intermediate mechanics by doing things hands on.....i was wondering what your opinions were toward me buying that eclipse with a "spun rod bearing"....

uhh.. pull the motor out and fix it. then it would be fine

common thing with them....probably find a used motor for cheaper than replacing it...or replace it and build the motor up and turbo it

for 750 - you cant beat it . . .

Even if you had to pay someone to replace it
