my town is going to hell?
well 11/2 there was a meth lab bust in my town...the father was making meth in his garage...he had a wife and two daughters.... i got some pictures and the full story, that was an awsome day.....(no one washurt and i was there for most of search/arresting)
however today a few houses away a man(friend of the victems family) shot and killed two girls 14 and 21....then shot himself......45 handgun was used.....unfortunatly i was not there so i do not have the first hand full story....im only getting info from my friends and the news, motives have not been confermed but one theory is the oldest on was pregnant
that was werid to me becasue it was so close in time and location to the meth lab.......and the girls from both families were close in age......i duno but stuff like this almost never happens around my area.....pretty interesting
p.s. im going to school for law and justice with a minor in psychology.....i love this stuff.....

Wow.... yah it's everywhere....
Right down the street from our house in Cincy a ladies ex-husband drove to her house, called her outside and shot her on the front lawn and took off. Later than day he shot himself...
On a little side note the people that lived in the house across from us but down one rented on Section 8 and one of the guys that lived there was arrested for Armed Robery of a gas station close by. The man that rented the house died in his sleep, hauled off and they suspected he was drugged or it was an overdose. Before he died though, in order for that mans wife to keep getting her cigerettes or meds b/c she couldn't afford it this guy would come over and give them to her but in return she had to give it up.... and her husband was right in the next room. There are so many stories it goes on and on... cops were there just about once a week for a domestic violence call. People would come and go, the guys wife even stood in traffic stopping cars to get people to give her a ride. Cops would bring her home all the time, husband would be drunk or hopped up on drugs all the time. He was on house arrest for position of cocaine. These people weren't young either, probably in their 50s easily and just plain trailer trash....
But yah... it's everywhere.... we weren't in a bad neighborhood but that one house made it feel line one. It was on the order of watching Jerry Springer every time the cops showed up.... It was fun seeing them get evicted in the rain then threaten to burn down the house

The house right next to them all growing up every single Friday night there would be a fight in the middle of the street between family members or friends that would come over. The people would pull up to their house and park on the lawn in front of the front door. Lets see... cops were there almost as much as the other house but maybe not as bad. When they came it was usually for bigger things like the fights. They had a but load of trash sitting next to their house, I mean... A LOT! All of it was under a car port and one day it caught fire. Up until a few years ago you could still see the burn marks on the siding of the house then they finally painted it. They really calmed down once the mom handled the house down to her daughter and she actully started fixing it up. Once that happened it was the other house that acted up once the lady that owned it rented to section 8. They'd just drink and smoke all day, they drank enough to warrant needing a keg and once that was empty it sat on the front porch for weeks

we have a part of town close by...about 15 minutes away. It used to be a big factory textile mill town, but they have since closed the factory because of a huge norfolk southern train wreck a couple of years ago. It spilled all this clorine all in the air, and alot of people got sick and most of the area around where it happened cant be lived in for a while
but ANWAYS....they busted up a prostitution ring a while back down there, plus there are robberies of gas stations all the time here. My neighbors a few houses down are drug dealers
and my neighbors next door are drunk idiots.

It wasn't the ghetto at all for me, it just has those strange people that everyone seems to have. The overall city though half the town was the ghetto one part being if you were white and you drove through it was almost certian that you would be shot. Every day there were shootings, roberies, ect... Since the racial riots back in I think 2000 or 2001 the city was never the same and everyone was so afraid of everyone else. When I worked downtown if I left after 6pm I'd only have to be outside wating for the bus for 5-10min and a homeless person would be begin me for money. Hell, I was still working downtown and more than I got to work in the morning I heard that someone was shot and killed only a few blocks away and that was around 9-10am. Another day I'm working in the server room that overlooks one of the streets and see police cars and police tape everywhere... sure enough the bank next door was robbed in broad daylight. I'm sure other cities were worse but yah... I really don't miss Cincinnati.

I spent my entire life growing up in the country around corn fields.
Last year I moved into Toledo, which is a rather large city... yea, that was a huge jump for me.
Surprisingly enough, I haven't even had my car touched anywhere I go. Now, while I was living in the coutry, that's when you have to worry about teenagers out to destroy things.
Don't ask me how I know that one.
But, I prefer the country, and hope to move out there soon enough.
