Hey opi, being into body mod and all the greatness there-in i have seen some crazy crap myself, but i ask you... did they cut to far,, everytounge that i gavce seen is NEVER cut that deep back...... it may be the pic, but that looks way to far....... anyway i couldnt do that, theres no way.. ill stay to my far "less rare" peircings... have a good one..

and p.s. for everyone asking about pain........ i havent seen opi mention this so i will... VERY few peircers/tattoo artist are licensed to use anasthesia.... so pain is the only way out....... but yeah law prohibits any kind of stuff to be used, with out the license.. hospitals and crap..... so unfortuanly you have to bite the bullet..... unless your tonuge is getting tdone. then you cant have anything in your mouht...

I actually have a decentally long tongue. It's cut back into my tongue web a little bit, and that can actually be safely removed if need be. He didn't cut into my glands at all, which is a defenate good thing.

It just looks long as hell becuase of all the swelling... this is also the cause for it looking awefully crooked. But, it's not, so that also makes me happy.

And somewhere in this long, drawn out post I mentioned anasthesia... dunno where.

It MAY be illeagal, BUT you can still buy it off of a few websites.

no hey thats awesome. im the same way , i mean don get me wrong im NO WHERE NEAR YOUR "should i say HOLE'eness,lol, but i ve had three tats at home, and ive had my ears aguged once..... and my lip done twice.... ( let all go..... actually) only have ears at this point... but will be getting the rest reid here very soon.. but i think ive only been to a shop once, for my first ear gauge... no different.... anyway nice job man, i suppose your right about the length it just looked wierd...

I was a pokemon nerd. I loved the game.

I had all 151 on my red cartrage, and only had the blue to transfer "blue only" pokemon.

Then it came over with 8,000 other types and I grew up.

Another update on the tongue:

IT now looks like a tongue again! My lisp is slowly starting to go away, and the pain in minimal. It's now just an annoying discomfort. It just feels like a paper cut on my tongue.

Would I do it again: Yes... but in a different fashion. I'd never go back to the people that did this for me. Noooooo way.

Was it worth it: Yes... it was. I like freaking people out, I like being able to move my tongue around like I can. It just makes life a little more interesting.

Would I recommend someone else doing it: Maybe... It depends on how they want it done really.

does it feel normally in your mouth meaning can you feel two seperate pieces of tongue in your mouth? how does it feel when eating food?

When it's resting in my mouth, yea. It feels pretty normal. Now, I can sit here and move the two halves independantly, then it feels a little odd.

In terms of eating... at first it was ackward as hell, but now it's just like when my tongue was hole. Nothing has actually changed that much.
