I had my license suspended once, about 5 years ago. I had gotten a fix-it ticket for not having my insurance proof in my car.
I thought that fix-it tickets meant just fix it and don't get caught again, or you are in trouble the second time. Of course, I didn't have an up-to-date address on my license at the time, so the court summons never got to me.
I got pulled over for speeding about a month after my license was suspended, so I was speeding AND driving on a suspended license! OH YAY! Fixed all that nonsense, but it sure didn't come cheap...
I recently got a 95mph in a 65mph zone a couple months ago, that was a $370 fine and traffic school. First ticket for me in about 2 years, but ugh =[

Actually, it was the Charger I was driving. At night, and the windows are all tinted with 20% tint. It tends to attract a bit of attention... even when I don't want it to...

what a freaking waste of time, they told me already what i knew...it's either gonna be a 15 day suspension or i have to retake my permit test and driving test....I ALREADY KNEW THAT DURRRR....but basically was just to ask me why i was speeding thats it...now i wait another two weeks for them to make the decision on what they are giving me....it's gonna be what like 3 months soon? jesus

they are special people
i got a ticket, hell its about 3 months ago. first one since i was 18. court date scheduled for feb 8th. water main break, court house closed. got a letter a week later, new court date is march 8th. this is getting annoying. all for 40 in a 25 that is $90 and 2 points.
i know its no excuse but i didnt even realize it was a 25 zone. i was predicting it to be a 30 or 35 zone because of the location and such.

I feel a little better now reading all this. Now offense J, but at least I'm not the only one that can feel like they're going fast in a neon. Got tagged back in Jan for a 78 in a 55. Got a court date this Fri, and not even sure if I'll have my license to drive home either. On top of that, another cop that was bored thought that he'd write up a phoney ticket about me making a wrong turn to/from wrong lane position when I was in the right the whole time. Take into mind that this city is only 10 blocks by 20 blocks area wise.

I think they're trying to catch up on there traffic qoutas since they got set back a month with all the stupid snow. oh well....we'll see.
