Sent him a message, maybe he'll read it and update his auction... or maybe he'll be an ass to me and say all kinds of things like "NU UH!!!! DUDE TOLD ME IT WAS AN R/T1!11!!!!111"

Bah well... it's an 00-01 ES or SE, not even an SXT b/c there weren't SXTs in '02.

i have an 02 sxt but yea my vin and insurance comes up for an es though....never did figure that one out

Q: Just wanted to let ya know, it doesn't look like you have an R/T, it's actually an 00-01 ES or SE. The R/T has a different front and rear bumper, speedo that goes to 140 as well as a active intake manifold made out of aluminum and not plastic like the regular Neons had. It also had side skirts, 16inch alloy wheels as well as various other items. The only thing on the car that resembles R/T is the headlamps but someone could have changed those and the spoiler but you could get the spoiler in the sport appearance package available that year. You also have an SXT badge on the trunk which in 2001 there wasn't an SXT made then, only 2002+ had the SXT model line. The engine bay is that of a regular neon and not that of an R/T or ACR that had the magnum engine. Sorry man, but what you haven't isn't an R/T. When you lookup the VIN it doesn't display as an R/T. Sorry man but just wanted to give you the heads up..

A: This is a big surprise to me. before I bought the car from my friend it had its bumper taillights and trunk replaced by Skinners body shop. thats where he bought it. I read up on the R/t and even they said there wasn't anything on the r/t that would tell you it was an r/t. plus I thought the traction control was only on the R/T. I have the factory wheels from the R/t as well. There is a difference with the shifting its not gooey like the es dodge neon I drove so I was convenced it was an R/T but now that I see it only has 120mph speedo I guess Its a SE. The car is still loaded to the max I'm just sorry I didn't know this before posting my car thanks for the info and being respectful about it.
