i'm mainly listening to a station on sirius called boombox. plays a lot of break-beats, trance, old skool techno/electronic, and old skool rap.... it's a great mix. when i'm not listening to that, my cd/mp3 collection is pretty much comprised of the same thing only more specific on artists like juno reactor, daft punk, crystal method, amon tobin, chem bros, tool, linkin park, limp bizkit.... well frankly just a shitload of techno, rock, and alternative, and a little bit of rap.

I currently got Evanescence "anywhere but home", Metallica "S&M", Crossfade, Linkin Park w/ Jay-Z in the cd changer.
I'm into the alternative rock and still listen to a bit of the big hair bands from the '80s. Dokken is still my fave from that genre.

Two completely different bands...why combine them? Just because of Maynard? Not a good idea.
In the car right now I've got:
Mudvayne, Aperfectcircle, the Postal Service, (hed)pe, U2, Linkin Park (guilty pleasure), CKY, the Mars Volta, Daft Punk, and Zero7...I think that's it.

Werd. That album blows my mind every time I listen to it. One of the most original and creative bands to come along in a very long time. I can't wait for their new album to come out. It's supposed to be really long and "experimental" and "complex." Their first one was anything but ordinary, so what did they expect?
As for (hed)pe, I saw them live back in 1998 and I've been hooked on them ever since. I'm not a huge fan of the rap/rock thing anymore, but those guys put on a hell of a show.
I saw the Blood Brothers play a few years ago. They're a local band. My buddy (who I used to be in a band with) is in another local band and he knows them all personally and hangs out on a semi-regular basis. They're not quite my cup of tea, however...
