Shoot. I thought that you were trying to go THIS year (2007). It would be really cool to have everyone together but it is asking a lot of you to drive that great a distance. If there were a west coast meet, I probably wouldn't be able to make it so I understand your situation.

I drive over 14 hours every other Saturday for my two jobs so it can be done. Not that I would recommend it.

Yeah, I always take a day off after the event, before I go back to work just so that I can recover. I'm staying in Carlisle until Monday so that I can drive back home in the daylight.

that's what i woudl do next year, take a couple days opff before to make the trip and a couple days after to drive back and rest up

or what you can do is:

take all the good parts off your car, ship them to carlisle, fly to carlisle, rent a e-blue neon, install your parts, and your good to go

BTW, Carlisle is not worth that much of a trip. It hasn't been fun for years.

Go to NOPI or something much more fun and higher profile if you are gonna just go to screw around. After all the hype, you are gonna feel very empty when you arrive.

Ironicly, our second annual cali meet (westcoast?) is in the discussion/ideas/planning stages right now between some members that attended last years.
