Post by neonpla » Sat Feb 03, 2007 4:30 am

Got a speeding ticket tonight, and to make it worse.. it was on post.

51 in a 35, they got me coming out of a corner i love taking fast...

DAMN IT!!!!

Does anybody know if a out of state ticket will make it back to your home state insuarnce, for instance i got the ticket in AZ will they know back home in NY?

Any MP's know if a ticket on post transfers over to civilian agencies?

Thanks.

There goes 75$ down the drain. :( :(

I think every state is different. Like up here they have this option that you can defer a ticket. Which means it won't go on your record, but if you get another ticket in three years, they put both of them on your record. And you can't defer another ticket for three years also. At least I think so..now I can't remember exactly. :?

it goes on your record, I wouldn't worry about your state finding out about it, but insurance will definately find out about it - and that is much much worse. So if you can find a way to make the court apperance or lawyer to see about doing the traffic school to keep it off you record (that is if you haven't done it already this year). might cost some money now, but it is worth the saving in car insurance....

to hell with MP/MA's they just write tickets on base. they have no authority off base. worst that happens on base is you lose driving priviledges....
