I downloaded the game straight from blizzard, and have a 10 day free trial. I wanted to see what all the hype was about, why people love the game so much... so on and so forth.

So who on here plays it, and wants to meet up in a Realm one of these nights? I know LowNslow used to play, Bella does... I don't know who else.

Bascially, I'm just seeing if it's ever worth buying.

all i can tell you about WOW is what i learned from the south park wow episode....

honestly, if you like mpg's and rpg's, you will love this game. I play the precursors to online mpg's with graphics, they are called MUD's, and they are all text and hard as hell to play - but funner than anything I have ever played!!!

Never played WOW, but I know several people that do, and once they got started, they have yet to get off... Also, both the guys (my bro-in-laws) do not have lifes anymroe, one lost his gf/finace because of it, and the other is now an alcoholic from sitting all night and playing the game and drinking beer... so yeah, its addictive. Which is why I do not play it!

I've played it for 2 nights now, and don't see the HUGE thing. It's kind of fun, but nothing i'd obsess over.

And I've heard about MANY people loosing loved ones over WoW. It's sad, yet funny at the same time.
I'm just looking to entertain myself for the next 8 days until my trial dies.

I think people keep playing to keep getting their rank up. Plus they like fairy tales. j/p

I personally have never gotten into it and don't plan to.

my bro plays it like 12 hours a day atleast,,, i dont see the big thing with it either, but o well..i guess im just more into BF2 and stuff like that..

i have like 10 different characters. it's a fun way to kinda get a break. i think a lot of the facination is getting the quests done and leveling the character. and sometimes you get lucky and met a few other players and then it gets really fun. my husband is big on pvp. no my cup of tea. but i think that what he is "addicted" to.

im going on lvl 70... come to Magtheridon... send a tell to Vladmir and lemme know who you are if you decide to actually play the game.

Level 24 night elf hunter/ - leatherworker/skinning

game is OK, it gets boring. so you have to keep the game time short.

do not play! it's gonna fuck your life up!!!

I doubt I'll ever -pay- the monthly fee... but i will play until my 10 days are up.

My sis has been playing it for over a year now and it's sucked the life out of her. My suggestion: don't do it, lol

My friend is so fricken addicted to this game. All he does is goto work and come home and play. He has NO life anymore. He even stood in line for the new expantion that came out and got the limited edition one. He has 2 level 70's and 3 that are close to 60. Its sad talking to him lol

Level 6 in days is nothing to brag about.

Don't get addicted... quit while you can.

On my new toons I normally got to level 12 before I quit for the day.

haha, everyone here cracks me up.

I don't plan on playing ALOT i have WAY to much else to fuck with throughout the day. It's just something to kill time for the next 8 days.
