Eh + AWD + 400lbs = a 3700lbs, 300CrankHP Bus
300hp at the crank with AWD parasitic load = EVEN SLower
Whats an evo weigh, 3300lbs-3500lbs?
You're taking a CVT caliber, that is loaded with options, and guestimating what its going to weigh with an additional drivetrain.
3700lbs is Charger/Magnum/300C/Dakota area. It won't weigh that much.
If it weighs 3500lbs, I'll be surprised.
If its AWD, it'll spank stock SRT4's, and probably give S1's all they could handle. The CVT is HEAVY, and 5 or even 6spd manual is much lighter.
Look at the weight difference between the SRT4 and a neon R/T.
2900lbs for an SRT v. 2750-2800 for an 2g R/T. The SRT has a larger block, another camshaft/valvetrain, bigger connecting rods, heavier transmission, heavier wheels, etc etc etc.

I'll take any Neon anytime, even rickshaws, compared to those God-awful Calibers. DCX has seriously lost touch with reality, aka consumers. Just my 2 cents/shillings.
It may have all that horsepower but the power/weight ratio is nothing compared to a Lotus Exige with only 190 horsepower.
