Well your best bet is to borrow from a relative that has money, so then you don't have to pay little or no interest. Second bet would be with a Credit Union. APR is gonna be pretty high depending on your credit score and how much you make a month/ spend on bills. Remember to pay it off within 3 years so interest doesn't hit you too bad.

any bank wachovia, bb&t.....I get a 5k loan every year...the payments are like 200 for 2 years, or 100 for 4 years....interest is like 15-17% so pay it off early...

:withstupid:

Credit Unions are better than banks for personal loans. When i started with Boeing Employees CU. my personal loan had 11% interest (they switched it to line of credit - good thing in my opinnion) and now its 8.5%.

When I shopped at banks (like Bank o America) they wanted 18%, Wells fargo 24% with 2% APR. --That was a couple years ago though

I know my credit is good - short of my student loans that is my only credit with a much higher limit than 2k, and I'm a 27 year old college student. But that wasn't what was important; my example was to support for looking at credit unions over choice banks by showing what intrest rates the banks wanted over what the credit unions offered. Additionally it just happens that 702Neon happens to also be the same age as I when I inquired.

If your credit is perfect you wouldn't have a 17.6% apr. :)

I think you mean you have no imperfections or missed payments etc.

even though i got approved for my car on my own....i still had my dad co sign it....i forget what my car loan is but i think it's like 3% or something like that, which i was told is low...

as for a person loan i think i got 14% through my credit union for my 1500 dollar loan for a year and a half...

My personal loan isn't through anything military related. As far as the bank knows I work for the Dept of Defense as a contractor. I can understand if I went through one of the military lending institutions..... but still.... these numbers are credit card APRs.... not loan APRs.... sheesh.

had great credit when i bought my neon and before I met the bitch (ex) and let my dick do the thinking for me. (F'ed up my credit for a while)

I had 11% apr on the car the reason was I had never bought anything over 10,000 before so I was risk.

Now I can't get them to freaking stop. They just rasied one of my CCs to 20K the bastards.

i got a 5k personal loan about 4 months ago...my credit is A+ i think my rate is something like 6%, it was really low. I agree with most people on here...go with a credit union, u will get the best rate. i think the payment is like $160, but i always pay more.
