Well, the mercury hit +24 F today, so it's time to change oil!
The guy in the pictures isn't me, he's a friend I work with.
The white Saturn is his.
The Caravan is his wife's.
The white Neon is mine.
The salt encrusted silver Neon is my G/|F's.
Castrol GTX for all but mine. Mobil 1 for me.
Can't talk him out of Fram filters.
Puralator One's for the Neons.
After fifteen years in SoCal, this sucks!

I did the same. It got in the 40s here. There's nothing wrong with GTX. Why spend big bucks on that Group III M1? (trying to start Mobil1 debate) Just kidding. I've never understood jack stands for oil changes either. Rhino Ramps, or any car ramps.

sometimes, your car is too low to get up on ramps.

i dont think many here know about that issue. im already against mobil 1, so no hurting my feelings.
if people want to have an oil discussion take it to the general sections synthetic oil thread. this is just simple banter.

yeah...and that is N"OT FUN...hense the reason that I havent had a chance to remove the AC yet....I cant get mine on ramps, or get the jack under it. I have to dig a hole, put the jack in it and jack it up that way LMAO. whatever works I guess.

I'm using Mopar 2GN lowering springs, ramps do
not work.

Before I switched to full synthetic oil, Castrol GTX and Castrol Syntech were my choices.

Jason, you would have missed Ohio yesterday and today. Snow then a nice 3/4" glaze of ice, +20F temps and wind. Makes ya homesick don't it?
I work for the Federal Government (Defense Logistics Agency), the center closed yesterday, and delayed opening today. Why did I move here from SoCal?
