Do You Think I'll Be Able to Take Unsuperman's Title????

Ok, my NGC ran a 15.5 at the track last Friday night. I'm currently swappin in my Phantom Grip'd ACR tranny with a stage 2 clutch and Fidanza flywheel AND my B&M sts hacked down 2 inches. Will I be able to take Unsuperman's title as fastest NGC neon???

And that's without a turbo!

Let the controvesy begin.......................... (IF NOT I WILL BE THE FASTEST N/A NGC....)

No. That will not make you run low 14's.

yeah sorry to say those things aren't going ot make u drop from a 15.5 down to a 14.18...sorry but u might make a 15.2.
As far as unsuper's title...no matter who, when, or how someone runs a better time, unsuper still will have the title. It's like the guy who broke the sound barrier for the first time...No one can do something for the first time more than once
All i can say is i hope he doesn't see this thread.

Otherwise i give it two days and the thread will be either deleted or locked

first off you might make a 15.4-15.3 pass at most. I know for a fact kev hasnt broke his 15.9 with the 3.94 tranny. Only thing that will help a little is the flywheel. You wont even be the fastest na. Look up neonneedsaturbo on the .org he ran a 14.9 na.
There is a guy down in south florida, not richard, that ran a 13.6. Nemo built the car and i found out about it from him. I dont know if its true or not since i havnt seen time slips. But einsteiniac will beat the 14.1 with his new motor then richard will just slaughter it. He is gonna be the fastest after he is done im prodicting 12.9's

o i have no doubt about einsteiniac, or turbosxt (once he tunes it)...I was just commenting on how unsuper was the first. Also, why did einsteiniac get a new motor and what motor is it?? I haven't heard about the Nemo car, but it would be amazing to see a NGC Neon running 13.6's let alone 12.9's. Hopefully they get these cars out and about so companies will start making upgrades so we can get around the NGC for a reasonable cost ($400 or so)

umm einsteiniac built his motor 8.6(i cant remember) .020 over and balanced.
turbosxt hell be fast but then again not fast enough
unsuper man will always have that title. lets just say it will be stupid

Ok, first off, I said fastest n/a STOCK BLOCK (no nitrous) NGC. Second, I'm pretty fuckin confident I can get low 14's. I'm gonna find out here shortly. And unsuperman, no hard feelings or nothin, I just wanna c if I can give ur turbo a run for it's money!

ok, first off, no you didn't.

that's the first you mentioned the words STOCK BLOCK anywhere in this thead.
second, really, don't get your hopes up. as others have pointed out, you'll be lucky to gain a couple seconds AT BEST after adding those mods. but who knows, maybe you'll show all us experienced neon folk a thing or two.

Probably fastest N/A, but you aren't going to get low 14's.

i went 15.5 @ 88 with bolt ons n/a.
14.1 on "stock block" and turbo
and i plan to turn over my title to who ever beats my time. itll be Einst. very shortly... but i knwo his plans, and im hoping for a little better...
12.9 jim? lol i HOPE i go 12.9s or better on boost... then a little quicker with the giggle....
for those who dont know... Einst. is planning stock CF S2 turbo at full boost and spray.
i on the other hand am going with a 57trim set on high boost and around a 100shot on top of that....

in the mail is dog bone motor mounts from Dynoworks. Sitting at a freinds house is the 57trim once i come up with 200 more dollars. march 25th im hoping to start the build. im doing it myself... should be fun...

good, i want to see some 13's sec time slips. DR's would put anyone of us into the 13's easily. i think we are all awesome for neevr doing it tho. id rather spin into the 13's then have to cause havok on my tranny and hook into the 13's.
im not sure what that has to do wtih you, but run 13's damnit.

I will be spinnin on street tires also. Low 13's should be on the menu. We will see tho, since nothing has been very easy coming to this point, and I don't really expect it to change now. I just hope it doesn't take all damn summer again, to get it to run its potential. A dyno tune is on order this year for that reason.

OK, so we lost the topic. Point being, if there is a faster N/A STOCK BLOCK NGC neon out there, lemme know. Time slip will b provided in 2 weeks when I get back to TX since CO weather sucks. My friends have estimated 14.7 but they think it will be slightly better. I'll post when I find out........

unsuper i thought i was going ot make a trip down to florida this summer and u were going ot give me a hand with my CF setup...o well i guess it looks like u will be too busy and won't have enough room for two cars.

chris barnett went 11.99 with just a little more power then that.
more importantly, i went 14.1 on 195 street tires, stock pressure on a 10 year old lebearn junkyard turbo set to 8psi, with 80psi of fuel. i could have eaisly gone 13's with that setup and a few more psi. im 100% i didnt and dont have 200whp when i did it eiather. with slicks i would have gone mid 13's all night.
