(b)ASS RAPED

So I just got off work and stopped to get some gas. I was leaving the gas station and it was a 2 lanes both ways. I was in the right lane one car back from the line at the red light. It was nice out so I had the windows down.

Now first off, I have subs, but I don't drive around with them on all the time. I've got a toggle (check out my garage pics). Pretty much the only time I use them is for times such as the following.

So I hear this faint thud thud of somebody's bass. I look back and it's some beat up car that looked something like this:

...but with more rust. There was some eminem lookin guy who probably should have been wearing a bandana to complete his look acting like a hardass a few cars back. So I'm thinking "Ok, time to put this poor sob to shame,". I found a decent bass-y song and flip the toggle, then turn the volume up about 3/4 notches and I swear every window on the surrounding cars started pulsing.

So the light had just turned green and the lanes were holding steady but I could tell he was trying to get a good look at me and pull even. Then the cars in front of him moved up a bit faster than mine did and he tailgates the guy in front of him until he can fly past me. So sad.

Heh. I remember those days, when punching loud subs was cool. That was, what, High school? So now my then-top of the line Sony Mobile ES subs and the subsequent Sony P5's I replaced them with after I blew one (for about 2 months) sat in my garage for 6 months. Now they sit in my friends garage after I gave them to him. That was, hmm, about a year ago I think...
