It grinds my gears that the village government decides that redoing the medians that are in fine shape is a more important project than fixing an intersection that causes accidents and doesn't line up...

My town just decided to put in a sidewalk that goes nowhere on some stupid ass back country road instead of paving the downtown area where the pot holes are outrageous

It grinds my gears to pay local taxes just to get bubbles in my tires because the local roads are shit. Maybe if they weren't such cheap ass motherfuckers when they first laid the pavement, all one inch of it, it wouldn't be cracking, chipping, and potholing like crazy all over the place!
