I just found out that a guy I used to work with at Costco died last night in a motorcycle collision. He was a great guy, used to work with him every morning. He was so full of life and energy all the time, even when we would get to work at 3am. He was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. My mom knew him as well because after I left Costco she got a job there. His girlfriend used to manage the local gym and is also a good friend of one of my mom's friends. They were planning their wedding for this June.
The collision was his fault, he made a poor choice, but that doesn't lessen the impact on everyone who was around him. Everyone just be careful out there, that thrill of going fast is not worth your, or anyone elses, life.

My thought and prayers are with his family as well as the people injured and their families.
