hmm... loans to pay off credit... that shit turns into a revolving door of no-funness. best thing to do is bust yo ass doin off-the-books work for CASH till you pay off the card(s?) and buy an ass-load of ramen noodles (with CASH!!!) hopefully the cards were used on an emergency. good luck dood.

the way i want it done is if i get a signature loan and pay my credit cards. then my score would go up and i would be able get a better loan with less payments and bigger loan for about 7 grand. so i can start using a car auction for my advantage. buy a car for about a quarter of it's price or less, fix it up and sell it. friend of mine just bought a 03 mitsubishi lancer for $800 + auction fees = $1300-1500. so that's my plan. whatcha think?

I'm in the same boat too :(. I have a couple of school loans and a credit card bill I wanna get rid of by end of summer or by the end of the year...

If you could try to work an another job during the summer, you won't have to get a loan. That's what I'm planning to do once I'm outta school: full time job at day, part-time at night.
:tardbang:

By the end of summer, card bill will be gone, car's paid off, and all I have are my school loans. Then I'd think about getting a new car or not.

Getting a loan to pay a card sounds good but you'll be left paying that loan, so hopefully the interest rate's isn't high. If you do get the loan and pay the card off, cut up the card and don't use it again or it'll get messy financially.
