Well 4-5 of you guys did sign up on our site, but I'm not trying to start a "Forum war" just arguing the points we are trying to make.

And yeah, most of us like a stock body or exterior mods on our cars, what would be the purpose of anything modified aside from looking cool?

Set yourself apart from everyone else on the road?

Not everyone has there mind set on going fast. I know if I owned something that ran 13's, my ass would be dead by now.

So, instead, I waste my money away on exterior and "show" mods. Rice or not, it keeps me safe and sets me apart from every other neon i see running around.

The only mods I have are new Infinity speakers for all 6 and a Sony CD unit. Besides that, I painted my valve cover silver last Saturday :tardbang:

I've seen two cars on here that have the same hood and eyelids your car does. Classic case of unique sameness. Not trying to start an all out forum war, but I thought I'd point that out.

I prefer the neons.org definition of 'rice'....

Q: What is 'Rice'?

A: This is a perennial question on the Neon Message Boards. Generally, being 'ricey' centers around having a lot of Touring style appearance items without any actual performance modifications, but that's not the whole story. Just adding gargantuan exhaust tips, tall spoilers, multitudinous stickers, ground effects, driving lights, hood pins, huge wheels (and calling them rims), etc. doesn't automatically mean you are 'rice'. Style, after all, is a personal thing.

Rice is more of an attitude problem. Ricers confuse appearance with reality, and convince themselves that a car that looks fast is fast. Talking the talk without enough performance work to walk the walk is what makes someone a true Riceboy or Ricegirl.

The term 'rice' itself derives from the predominantly Japanese cars favored by the early trendsetters of this style, and the graphics of untranslatable Asian characters that they often carry. It is not a reference to Asian people in general.

Not to be an ass, but most of the Mustangs or Camaros that the posters on your forum look exactally like other ones too? I've seen numerous Mustangs or Camaros with Torque Thrusts on them, what's your point if people have A COUPLE of the same mods? They still have different ones that make the car UNIQUE.

^^ umm yeh, cheese007, if you'd look up in this thread, you'd notice that the owner of that last car has since changed the look for a more stock one, since he wasn't impressed with the bumper. :tardbang:

Well then I guess I can tell you that yellow and blue is a horrible color combo. :P Glad to see you've changed the front bumper. Looks better now

Alot of Neons have Eyelids.. It's more or less to make it look less like a Girl car. Eh I just deal with the Drunk Cross Eyed look for mine.
