We used to play oregon trail at school too, I always liked it, but I never won the game once. 45 minutes was not enough time on computer day to win it

And reader rabbit  I always liked that one when I was in elementary school.

We only went once a week, we had a different activity for every day. I guess thats the way private schools are, or were...or wahtever.

I always drown at the damn river near the end or I die due to cholera in Oregon Trail.

That game was serious business; I couldn't beat it :

I liked the part when you had to hunt for food, those deers were fast. There's nothing like playing a shooting game in an elementary school, lol.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

"Computer day" haha yeah my skoo' had that... remember Math Muncher? Like pac man w/ legs? You had to complete the formula to munch across the screen.

I also liked "War", that really simple howitzer game where you used angle and force in conjunction with wind to take out each other's bunkers...

Then a couple years later when color screens were more common (CGA, wow 8 whole colors!) we had our first exposure to "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" followed by "Where in America..." and "Where in Europe...".

Wow. Nostalgia.
Drive it like you stole it, and work on it like you married it.
