The occasional flashing of lights at me provides for some oh shit, humorous moments.
For them, anyways.

well in MD counties yes they are bored and they hate modded cars except mustangs and camero's but in b-more they dont care what you do aslong as your not shooting out the window of your car. (they cant stand that)

lol!
They do it sometimes too, only to modded cars. One time I did the whole "Oh I'm going into this parking lot" routine, and he followed me in and then followed me into dunkin donuts, hahah.

Yeah they follow kids here, even if you don't have anything done to your car. I just turn off at the very next driveway / parking lot / store. They searched me and patted me down once because I had a TV in the passenger seat. I was going to a LAN party lol.

yup they hates mod cars.
edit: now i remember, i drove 01 corolla with mods, rims, bodykit. i drove to work in early morning, a car behind me, very CLOSEST to me, I was worried because this time, md snipers, and they were about 60 miles away from my hometown so I start speed to get away from its car, next 2 mins later, it was siren and cop tickets me for high speed.

i just got back from mcdonalds lol, and i was dropping one of my friends off down the street and was showing him my system, well he couldn't believe the power it had for being 2 12's but anyway...i have the stereo on the whole time and what not. he gets out and I start to pull away. I drive around the corner and theres a cop sitting their talking to somebody. I turn it off real quick and get the evil stare from him lol....I then took a back road the rest of the way home.
me + stereo =
I already have a sound "notation" on my record due to one time I went to a friends house so he could pick something up....he went into the house and I pulled sideways outside of his house by the ditch...well I had the stereo on quite low... low enough to talk to his sister with a normal voice...then cops showed up about two houses down to deal with some kid doing something. anyway I go to leave when my friend gets back into the car and the cop puts his hand out and stops me...giving me the whole "I could still hear your system so be happy you didn't get a ticket" thing....
so yeah...my friends mom was working in her office in the house and didn't hear my system, and her window is by the ditch...anyway the cop then went on a rant about how he hates it when people with systems are going by his house when he's trying to sleep. even though mine wasn't that loud. (at the time) im glad i live in NSB and not Edgewater...edgy cops are pricks...they will pull you over for anything...Ive been pulled over once in NSB and let go and about 4 or 5 times in edgewater for stupid reasons...and got fined for them...
/rant
P.S. I understand they are doing their jobs but I know alot of them pull me over for such things as having a loud car, and being a teenager...plus looking 12

I have told them before. I have alot of respect from them...which alot of teens dont but they assume right away that im going to be an ass to them which sucks.

They do that around here seeing if you will make a mistake...
If you aren't afraid of cops driving is a lot easier. I see a lot of people freak out when they are getting followed and that just makes it harder on themselves.
They aren't above the law so if they on my ass I will tell them about it when they pull me over for giving them a brake check.

I left a bar and about about 2 miles down the road a state troop shows up behind me. I had been drinking but it was 11am at the time (3rd shift off at 7am .90 drafts do the math).
I never drove so careful in all my life. 1st and last time I ever drank and drove.

I had a cop pull me over at 11pm once when I was driving my Sonata (completely stock). He pulled me over cause I was missing the little sticker in the left hand corner of the license plate. He made me got out of the car to show me which sticker I was missing. He ran the plates and they're registered so he didn't give me a ticket. That's how much there is for cops to do here in Sylvania.

double-downshift FTW. new body kit on the county's tab: priceless. I love it when they follow too close, considering when they run my tags my following too close charge pops up.

true about not being afraid...but on the other hand, they will probably pull you over also because you didn't make a mistake and see if you will face to face...

If they pulled me over for driving correctly I would speak to their boss

Then they get in trouble for trying to get me in trouble.

cops here dont really do that kinda crap. i've only ever had one follow me for no reason once. and he flipped a u-turn after about 1mile of following me.
cops that think they're above the law are stupid. cops that will follow you just to see if you make a mistake are ignorant.
a buddy of mine used to clean a laundromat at night after hours, and 3 out of the 7 days of the week, he would get pulled over the moment he left, BY THE SAME COP! all because his car "fit the description" of a car that was used in a robbery... we think hes full of it and was just lookin for a reason to pull him over, but whatever. that cop's had is job threatened more than once for his bulshit like that...

Cops haven't give me any trouble. I just pull off somewhere and watch them go. Cops don't make me uncomfortable when they are behind me, it's just uncomfortable, like a slight itch on the top of your head when you already did your hair.

Happens here all the time. Somehow the cops have yet to harass me in the neon, but in my old escort back in the day they were all over me. Im still tryin to sweat off some of my points, and I havent got a ticket in almost 3 years.

I pass cops no problem... and I do what you do, watch my speedo the ENTIRE time to make sure I'm going a legal speed.
I was followed home one time, a block away from my house I was pulled over for have a white light in my 3rd break light. (it WAS painted red for a few hours...) he just told me to go buy a LED and get to bed. (it was like 4 am in the morning and I was drinking since like, 11.) Once again, first and last time I drove intoxicated.

Actually, they're probably running a routine driver's license and registration check by running your license plate number. Depending on how long it takes to get your information back, they're more than likely following you until everything comes back okay. If you had a warrant or anything else, that's when they'd stop you. It's a routine thing. Cops do it all the time around here. I heard it on my fire department radio the other day (since I also have the Police Dept. frequency in it as well) - A cop was behind me, he ran my plates, the dispatch gave him all my information back and within a couple blocks, he turned off onto a side street.

Had one fly up behind me from a toll booth three lanes over in an unmarked minivan. I couldn't see his bumper in my rearview and was doing 70 at the time. A semi was on my right (doing that wiggling trailer trick they like to do making me nervous), a car trying to merge was on my left, and this white minivan on my ass pissing me off so I punch it up to 80. I get past the semi and signal and move in front of it. Minivan sticks to me. Just as the thought "I bet that's a cop" goes through my head he hits the lights and sirens. I was furious at the nerve of this

guy. So I slam my brakes and whip it over and just verbally assault Barney Fife the whole time he's writing me a ticket for speeding, I hope they got it all on camera for the boys back at the station. I'm sure its a classic!

every time i get pulled over (only 3 times now, and all for stupid things) it is in my town and my parents are very good friends with the police chief.
i got pulled over by a young cop that went on to tell me i was weeving and he thought i was drunk..i never ever ever will drink and drive...so he pulls that stuff and i give him my licence and he goes back to his cop car and here comes another cop car...and its my parents friend (the chief). He walks over to my car and tells me to tell my parents Hi and have a good night....
i hate when cops thing they can make some bullshit up to pull you over just cuzz your a teen and try to give you a ticket.
parents being friends with police chief = FTW
note: i would never abuse being friends with a police officer if i really did something wrong

I've had em follow me clean into town from my house- a 15 mile drive. Little annoying but otherwise harmless.

Ever occur to you that there are cops whose main job is traffic, hence the term traffic cops?!
