Alright I posted a topic a little while ago about taking the car to the dealership cuz we are loosing a decent amount of oil between oil changes. I am talking like 2 quarts. The first time they said it was a bad crank seal. We were not leaking oil anywhere so wtfu with that. I didnt think that was the problem and of course it wasnt.
So we take the car back today cuz the car is still loosing oil somewhere. So we just got a call from the dealership saying they cant find any leaks anywhere. Which duh you retards, telling me something i dont know. The service tells my wife that his technicial says he belives our aftermarket intake is causing the lose of oil. We have an iceman on the car since we bought it and never had this problem. Hell I had one on my car for 5 years and never had a problem. The service guy says because you have an aftermarket intake your having this problem. And that we need to make sure and clean the filter at least once a month.
So we gotta go pick it up and I am going to be staying in my car cuz if i go in I am gonna bitch these retards out.

What the hell kind of idiots do they have working at that dealership? Have you tried taking it to any other dealerships? Might be worth the trouble.

Next they will blame an afternmarket shift knob for a slipping clutch.
"A carbon fiber shift knob results in too light a throw, and you can overshift into the pocket."

haha, clean the filter once a month.
imo this means they dont know what the hell is going on and they figured they could blame the iceman and be done with it.

If you're not leaking, and it's not burning, you're probably losing it thru the PCV. you should call the dealer and ask them why they say it's your intake. they might have pulled your manifold and discovered a puddle of oil inside it. disconnect the hose from the pcv for a few days and see how much oil is around the outside of it. if there's alot, that's probably your problem. if there's not much, you're probably burning it.
Do you make alot of hard right turns?

That actually makes a lot of sense... I had a car that the PCV popped out of completely once, and it looked like someone poured a quart of oil onto the trans after only driving a few miles... sure was smoky.

I've been told that my problems with a knocking sound in 1st gear was due to my transmission hitting the ground from my car being lowered.... it was an air quality issue from being at high elevations....
Yeah.. um.. thats why there are no scratches on it under neith... they will do what they can to get out of warrenty work if you mess with your ride....
