Ive been through a change like this before over at Racingflix.com . I became a Moderator during the change and I really enjoy it.
I have really no idea the stories behind the Mods leaving. But if You're looking for another Moderator <Insert Shameless Plug here>

Just like to thank everyone for being so understanding..
i will be lurking around, i might post some here and there, but i wont be on as much as i use to..
my daughter is now 7months old and growing up fast, she popped her first tooth through yesterday, and she is starting to try to "talk"
she has the da - da sound down pretty well now...
its really nice to know that i dont know alot of u personally but somehow u guys still treat me as family..
i wish everyone here the best of luck with everything u guys do..and i will talk to most of u again soon...
till i get some stuff straightened out and get some stuff done with work/life i wont be posting as much..
when i get this stuff done, i will come back at about 75%, i will never be posting as much as i use to.. i need some more time for my daughter and family...

Family comes first anyways!
Take care of your family and DO NOT miss those little things that happen when a child grows up, because you will NEVER be able to relive it again..... been there done that with the first born......
I wish you luck

Sorry to see you go justin, youre a cool dude. I think a lot of this ended up getting bigger than it had to, but thats just how it goes I guess. Good luck with everything.
P.S. I agree that voting on future mods would be a great way to promote democracy here on 2gn. The reason this hasnt happened is probably because Jason realized that it would end up being a popularity contest rather than a "who's best for the job" competition. Here's my solution: the current mods nominate x number of members who they think suit the needs of their staff, and the members vote on them over the course of a week or so. A prerequisite should be set for the voting members, such as join date, posts, or even a ratio of the two. Thats my 2 cents.

Justin, I hate to see you step away a bit, but I'm sure it'll be good for you and your family. Glad to hear you're still coming to Carlisle....we're still good to go for the room. You too Cricky.
I have good expectations for the near future and the long term future of this forum, and I know that what's been going down the last couple weeks is by no mean indicative of the forum's demise in any way. Everyone will not always get along....it's how they deal with it that matters. I hate seeing people be mad at each other over the internet. I'll be doing my best to keep everyone that wants to be part of this community happy, healthy, wealthy and wise. Well, mostly just happy and wise.

I can hear "High School Never Ends" when it comes to crap like this. I put most of the drama behind me, but it will never end. Take care of that baby Justin. The board and those of us who support you will be here when you decide to return bro. Take care.

I dont' make all the decisions anymore

We discuss it as a staff to see who we think would be best for the job
I might be the owner but I'm not going to sit here and go "eh... your opinion doesn't matter... I'm doing what I want..."
