Well for everyone who decided that bashing me and stuff was the way to go.. thats fine.. yea i lost my cool, but i was just defending myself for everything that everyone was accusing me of..
i never once had a problem with tnk in a fact that i hated him or tried to target him for nething...
yea..i might have made a post in the "secret" section bout the post whoring being high, and the swearing was getting back outta control after jason already tried to minimize it..
yea.. we all know everyone likes tink..so of course everyone is going to defend him.. should be expected..
ne wayz.. moving on
i just issuing an apology for ne one that i truely blew up on...
cassi..that pm i sent u was not how i normally am..i was boiling over that day and i took it out on u in that pm..i apologize for that..and i shoulda acted a little more civil towards u..
silver-es (chris) im not going to sit here and tell u that i like u or nething, cause i dont... im not going to rag on u or nething for nething that has been said or done though..im just going to try to forget about it.. and move on..
Tink..i know u think i hate u or something, and there is no reason for u to think i hate u..i havent hated u, and i dont think i ever will...so with that be said, it wasnt u that i ever had a "problem with" so plz dont think that..
opi.. i already pm'd u..so hopefully things are taken care of from that point of view...
to everyone else.. hate me or love me.. ur done with me..
i have a feeling u wont see very much of me ne more..
so pretty much to everyone.. this is goodbye,, it was fun while it lasted.. and i hope u all have fun modding ur neons..
i will still be at carlisle ..so if u dont have any hard feelings with me or nething..feel free to say hi..

Thanks for everything you helped out with around here Justin. You seem like a great guy, and I know we all have bad days. Shame to see you end it like this.
Looking forward to getting to see you in Carlisle and finally being able to put a person to the name.

Why does everyone run when they have a problem I just think that’s unfair to the people that don’t have anything to do with the situation? That’s just not on Justin either that’s to anybody that’s left because of personal problems they for some reason cant work out or squash.
Justin I hope you still post the same and that I appreciate the job that you have done and I respect the apology for what it was worth.

No don't go Justin; you've apologized and that's what counts.
Besides, I still owe you hotel money for Carlisle dammit.

I think with some people they think it makes them "look like the better man" as if they gave everybody what they wanted. just my thoughts on it.

You shouldn't apologize. In any point in life, no matter how upset you are, you should say what you mean, and mean what you say.
In that matter, everything I said today, I truly ment. No, i do not accept your apology, becuase i belive that you don't want me around here.
I have no idea why you're running away, but if that's what you want, then that's what you need to do.
Best of luck in whatever you do.
P.S. I told you you wouldn't have to step down, and that'd still be here.

I commend you 2003silverneonsxt. Life will be better now that you can spend it more with the people you love, then having to deal with all the e-thug's hypocrisy of what's moral or not

its really a shame to see some of the older members leave....i know that tink, opi, and myself as well as the new influx of people leaving have all left the site before and it never feels the same without them.....sry bout our misunderstandings but i feel that something needs to be done to keep this forum what it was.....
sorry but alot of these new members are messing things up and thats just how i feel....i mean expanding is great, but its ruining that small close knit family fealing the site once had

everyone does what they need to do, or what they feel they need to do. it's not always correct. emotions can run high. maybe sometime to think would be best.
i think that there is a suggestion forum that is need of use. i think that maybe if members are having specific issues that they should post them out in the clear. i know i am guilty of not using the readily available help. and again, sometimes emotion just get the better of you. if it's that big of an issue then bring it up to the staff. and sometimes that isn't going to resolve the issue. but it's a start. am i right?

i think that the mods need to be wiped out and all the members who have more than x number of posts or have been here x amount of time should all vote for new mods....

I have to say I for one do not think that the forum is going bad, all it seems to be is a few people bickering back and forth about something that happened and some hard feelings left pver from here and there and suddenly it blows up --- just like the interwebnet can do sometimes! I see one post, then BAM! Another one hits your eyes like minced garlic, and boy does it sting.
It seems like simple comments can be laced with venom in some peoples eyes. I just got done reading a thread where some people stated they were being attacked, others stated they were innocent, and others called names and pointed fingers... MAN, wow, seriously!
I was actually not shocked at all

This is the internet!!! You can not discern feelings and tone in a post, I found that out the hard way, freal!
Seriously though, for those of you who stated in your previous thread about 2gn going downhill, I disagree. I think it is just some bad feelings that just need to be ironed out amungst yourselves, and that would be the end of it. And I mean yourselves, as in not in a huge 8 pahe post

2gn
Either way bro, good luck in the future.
oh, and all you...

Now that's funny!

I think I am one of the oldest members who has NOT been a moderator. I told Jason that I'd like to be considered for the spot. There are times when I like to be the asshole of the forum.. but I'll quickly stop that to help run things around here... or atleast be apart of the forum and help out.

I totally agree, some of us moderators dont have enough time to look at every single topic here in 2GN, so we cover our main topics and skim through others if we have time. I always try to look at every single post here but its to much since 2GN is growing VERY rapidly. I dont see why members dont post over in the site problems topic more often when there actually dealing with site problems!

You realize that this comment is also directed to me too! I honestly want to say that 90% of the members have not had a problem with me yet, or atleast that I'm aware of. Diablo, 03, and I are in talks about rescent situations that are happening here in 2GN. We have lost 4 moderators in 30days due to litterally, childish behavior. I know some of you are going to bitch about my comments in this topic but I'm stating my opinion and if you dont like it..well

Well, I have been on 2GN since way back in the beginning and I have seen this community go through a number of changes. Some of you will look at my post count and think "How much can he actually say he has been on here?", but I am usually on every single day. Normally, I save my posts for things that I truly have a vested interest in and/or something that I feel like I can give assistance or constructive criticism on and a lot of times I just like to read what others have to say.
With that said, I am proud to see all the changes that 2GN has gone through. Jason is a great guy and I think that we all need to thank him (and the rest of the mod/admin staff) for making this community a success. These little 'battles' that a minority of members go through are just part of the growing pains of the community. Whenever you throw a diverse group of people together there are bound to be some issues but as long as the sense of family is upheld, the group will stand strong. We are all here because we love our Neons and want to be in contact with others that feel the same way. Remember, there is safety in numbers and us Neon owners need all the help we can get...haha.
After reading through the previously mentioned posts yesterday, I didn't really see anything out of the ordinary. It’s just the typical "My e-muscles are bigger than yours" type of stuff. No surprise there, it happens. What did bother me, though, was the amount of people that said the forum is going downhill and turning into the other .org. I think that is an overreaction to say the least. Haven't you ever seen an e-fight...it happens and we move on. This attitude looks to be generally coming from newer members that haven't seen the growing pains of this forum, so maybe that is leading to those thoughts.
From my unbiased standpoint, I think both sides of the recent tension are at fault. However, pointing fingers really doesn't get us anywhere. No matter if you are a mod or just a normal member, you need to at least respect the community enough to realize when it is time to stop and take things to a more private (PM) medium.
Justin...I realize that you probably feel like everyone is against you, but I would give 2GN another chance because we aren't. Time heals wounds and I have seen it happen on here before. I know you have been around for a long while now and it would be a shame for the community to lose another veteran.
And now, on a lighter note, I will illustrate recent events with a picture...
Good day, everyone!
.Chris

Neon_driver00 - I'd really have to agree with you. Times change, like I said in a previous thread, the forum is going through another growing spurt and we're trying to adjust to cope with the changes and try to work out what are the best ways of handling situations or what we should be focuing on to keep the forum on the best track to keep that family feel to it that everyone, or most everyone I should say, enjoys.
Things have happened in the past month but I myself as well as the rest of the staff are working to prevent such things from happening again in the future. I assure you though that the forum won't be put to the way side, let everything go down hill and ignored, I myself wont' let that happen...
There will be changes made and hopefully those changes will be for the good. Like I said, some changes may be what we as the staff need to be focuing most on. For just an example to through out there... Swearing, yes, it can get annoying but how do we deal with it? Is it something we need to be strict about and really focus on either by going after a few people or everyone as a group. Or do we almost say screw it and accept that it's going to happen, it's impossible to fight and there isnt' much we can do about it. Things like that to make sure that all of us are on the same page looking at what is best for the forum as a whole and we aren't all having differing opinions on what is to be done. So really, we just need to regroup when you get right down to it.
To reinerate the forum is going through a growing spurt, a lot of new members have joined in the past few months and I'm not saying thats a bad thing by any means but when you have a surge in a lot of new members there are bound to be some disagreements while everyone gets to know each others opinions and personalities.
All I can really say is, stick in there... things will change, just have to be patient... it probably won't happen overnight and will take a few weeks or so to everything back on track.
