Hey Josh, I hope that I'm not out of line but I thought that this might cheer you up. I don't know how you feel about cars that are already modded but this one is in Findlay. Just something to drool over until you find the right one. Hang in there, okay?

Stockish on the outside with 425whp worth of engine mods, for a (used to be) hella low price and low miles.

Who knows what'll happen now.

man, that's like saying that you're going after your best friend's girl, and your excuse is that you saw other guys hitting on her at the bar when her bf wasnt arround

Thats how me and my boys handle it when it comes to women, if we go to the club or bar and someone see's a chick and call dibs or says "i gonna try and talk to her" then she is consired off limits till the smoke clears, but usally thats when we find out who our real friends are.

I agree, that's how me and my buddies play it off. Once someone CALLS dibs, it's over. It's theres, until something falls though.

It's just not right to undercut someone.


Update on all of this. Because of "playboy" Al wants to sell his car for an extra $1,000. It's do-able, just sucks. I can't say I blame him though. It's all in the money.

So, becuase of this, I may actually be asking 2gn for donations. (I REALLY hate to... but I need to pay for the this trip some how.) That extra $1,000 was going to pay for my plane ticket, food, gas... all that goodness, but now it has to go towards over all cost of the car. So, thank you playboy. Thank you for being a real swell guy.

We'll see though. I doubt I'll suck up my pride. I have to much of it to do so.

I'm being REALLY picky about this. MUST be an 04+ Black with a sunroof. Would like viper seats and kicker, but SRS works all the same. Low miles and within my price range.

The car I'm looking at has SRS seats, sunroof, black, lots of mods, and only 3,000 miles. (I'm getting REALLY paranoid about shooting of the details of this car. God knows who else will try to buy it out from under me)

i really wanted a black one too... but i just lawballed every car that looked good to me until someone took the bait... i wasnt a fan of the blue, but with the nice rims and tint it looked so good it changed my mind instantly... imo keep an open mind, even if you have a set of features you're insisting on, maybe you'll end up with a better deal... with the right mods almost any color can look hot....

There are a couple of other colors I would accept. (Silver, Blue, or White) But, my eyes are sticking to black. I've got plans for it.

Needless to say, I wont be rushing into ANY purchase without doing ALOT of homework on the car. It's half the reason I want to buy a car through the forums. I can stalk the person, look back at there old threads, and see what all they've done to the car.

so did anyone buy that car? josh, maybe just email the guy again and be like look, if you're ready to deal with someone serious, i'm ready to go ahead with the price we originally discussed... hell if you like it that much, offer him a couple hundred more... i bet you that if he sees he lost both sales, he'll get scared and bite and sell it for the original price... good luck

No one has bought it yet. I've been in close touch with the guy, and he asked directly for me not to quote him. Otherwise, I'd repeat what he said, and we'd all have a good laugh.

As it stands, he is undecided if he wants to sell the car now. It's the whole, people changing there mind thing.

I don't mind, it gives me a chance to pay off some debts before getting a new loan. I'd rather him hold onto it for awhile, and then me buy it.

We'll see what happens. As it stands though, this whole vacation/idea is dead.

Update: I want to thank everyone that's PMing me info on other SRT's.

Chances are, I have to let this deal pass. He keeps going up in price, and my buyer -may have- backed out on getting my SXT. I'm waiting to hear back from her one last time.

Someone new did call about it Sunday, but I don't expect it to go anywhere.

If it doesn't sell soon, I'm just going to give up, lightly modd it so I can stand to look at it again, and just drive.

dude this really sucks i was hoping you were going to get it, be patient you will find the right one trust me.

It's no big deal to me. I never ONCE got my hopes up about this. It was all just wishful thinking.

Maybe I will just break down and shoot for a motor swap one of these days. We'll see.
