I know a handfull of em read this forum....GOOD!!!!!!
I am generally a pretty laid back individual...most of you know this, those of you who know me anyway. Why is it that people are generally too pansy ass to say whats on their mind to your face? I know neon owners/tuners in general are cheapskates. Doesnt' bother me, i'm as guilty of it as everyone else. I dont say this as a business representative, but as a tuning enthusiast before anyone gets any ideas. What I am posting here has absolutely nothing to do with things at SSC or is in any way geared at any of our customers, all of you are greatly appreciated.
What really gets old is quite irritating is individuals who will, for example, request a quote on a totally one off setup, such as a sidemount turbo manifold, matching downpipe, dumptube, air pipe and charge piping for an srt. This individual actually does the typical "this place said1600" 5 minutes later it was 1400, 5 minutes after that it was 800 etc etc etc. I was waiting for it to turn into "they offered to pay me to put the part on the car" But I digress. Why then, when I give you a quote that is MORE than reasonable(1400 was what i said for all mild steel parts, and that quote does not apply any longer as there were some other conditions of that arrangement) do you turn around and start trash talking me and my company as being overpriced, low quality crap. Aside from having none of our parts on your vehicle that you are unable to afford to modify behond LED washer squirters,and being a perfect example of an internet tech(someone who is somewhat knowledgable about whats out there and what the stuff does, but cant look at the parts and identify a downpipe and air pipe without labels or colored diagrams) then proceed to tell me how to do MY job.
You know exactly who you are, and I wont embarass you by mentioning your name here, but your words did get back to me and I will remember. No i'm not going to hunt you down or anything, I dont have time for you as you in general are about as sharp as a bowling ball and not worth more effort than this post.
If you have something to say about me, ssc, my car, whatever, say it to my face, or in your case, RUN ME WITH YOUR SRT4!!! You know when i'm at etown, aside from the fact that you are a completely incompetent tuner who manages to put an 800hp evo into the 15s(great job there by the way), you cant get your srt out of the high 13's from what i recall. Should be an even race against my SOHC ALL MOTOR 95.
