For the South Fla guys. Where to take your car?

If any of the admins feel this doesn't belong here then I'm sorry. I didn't know where else to post this.
I know there is a number of guys here that live around the miami area and you all have some really nice cars. I was wondering if you guys take your cars to any shops in particular or do you do your mods at home by yourself?
I'm looking into doing a few things to the car right now and I'm a bit of a neon n00b.

most of my work was done with the help of some friends and me. Louie is pretty much the same way, ah some guys do use Nemo up in Coral Springs, and depending one what you need you could also do pablo (mostly srts).

what type of mods are you looking to do ?

more than likely turbo it. I really dont know how much im going to get out of it, probably not much since its also an atx. this on top of ngc which wont let me put much other mods on it.
I was at nemo's about two weeks ago. He is really busy right now and has been turning guys down. Lujan(pablo) is pretty pricey just to tune the car. I havnt talked to him about it yet but i cant imagine how much its going to cost me just to rig the turbo on this car.

nemo isn't cheap either and thats the truth. I know steve (roach) has some pretty hefty bills from him, he even said to make me a custom intake manifold it would be 450+ the magnum core i didn't have. so thats a 700 dollar intake manifold right there. The reality of it that any turbo kit if you can't do the installation yourself it will cost you.

yeah i figured as much man, nemo has a really good reputation and i figured he would be as much or even more than Lujan. I'm on a pretty tight budget right now so maybe ill just wait a bit until im comfortable doing some things on my own.

ive pretty much done everything myself so far.
im going turbo also, and getting my parts built by R/T ernie motorsports. and will be installing it myself also, hopefully with the helping hand of diablo25mn
for all my piping tho (intercooler and exhaust) im going to miami muffler. will probably be the only time my car sees a shop.
