What a tool, I'm glad I'm fortunate enough to live in a community where srt owners and neon owners co exist w/o a problem. I guess only in that case you should remind cocky srt owners that their car is after all "still a neon"grambo wrote:

Yeah, I dont get anything but the "V" or a wave from Subarus, EVO guys give me the nod or a "V" or
. SRT-4's rev on me or drive all crazy through traffic to catch up and mad-dog me while they squeek their BOV. The Yellow SRT-4 guy is just the cream of a big crop of asshats around here.

Sorry robb. You and I have never really talked. You Fresno area guys stick togather pretty well. There is a big car scene down there. Its cool.
Plus, you drive an Orange SRT-4, its not a parts car and prbably never will be.
I don't know what it is about the SF Bay area but, it seems to breed idiots that are somehow smart enough to purchase SRT products.

Not a problem Grambo. Kinda messed up though that there is only one neon club left around here though. That's why I am glad that a lot of the guys on here want to get a club going. I'm cool rolling solo but it's a hell of a lot more fun when you are with a group of people.

Shoot man. Fresno used to have a huge Neon community. Alot of show guys but still...
I am pretty lucky up here with the STI crowd. I had a pretty big party at my house and 10 cars showed up. It was cool.

its funny cause here in md STI/WRX guys are normally the douche bags they act like they are all high and mighty, matter of fact most people who drive nice cars in md act that way.

lol Thanks dude. I thought About moving back, but my girl doesn't want to move that far away from her family. I'm still trying to schedule a trip back home, working retail sucks when you try to make time for vacation. When I do get back there you'll be one of the first people I hit up for a hang out.grambo wrote: I wish Moxhair would move back here so I could say I know 1 cool dude with an SRT-4.

I love the Stage 3, Finally fixed the last of the boost leaks and it pulls so hard. I have virtually no traction until I shift out of 3rd. I'm on the Mopar Tune and PCM Controlled Boost. I doubt I'll do anymore Engine Stuff to Car because I'm a Suspension Freak. Well besides the FMIC that I've had on order from EvilCreations for 95 days. 310+whp with Buttloads of torque is just fine for me.grambo wrote:^Word.

One of my neighbors drives a Silver SRT-4.. I hate the kid. Has to rev up and blow off everytime he passes my car.
Right dude. Your Car is stock except for an Intake and a Exhaust. Oh Yea.. Nice tinted windows. If you really think your car is better, go look at my trunk, I have a message on there for you.. Tool.
Most of the SRT guys in this area are young immature punks and I HATE THEM. They give me a bad name and I'm one of the most mature driver's you'll ever meet.

04-05 SRT-4 is definately the best years because of the diff and potential sunroof action. Plus the ACR came out at that point...
Cheap power, iron block, cheap parts, big aftermarket support, and a huge amount of wrecked ones for parts.
I didn't have an SRT-4 and have only driven a few. My ACR would plow straight through corners with both tires squeeling up front for grip. This was with 150hp(-) to the wheels if i was lucky. An SRT-4 putting down 250-300 at the wheels is gonna be scary at its limits on a mountain road. In a straight line, they are sick. With Hoosiers they are just absurd.
The WRX is simply a different vehicle. There is very little that can be had on the cheap to make power. The AWD is simply awesome. There are barely words to describe the grip available in bad weather. (Passing 4x4 diesels uphill in the snow is fun!!!)
The STI version is just a whole different animal. It is a vehicle that can make any driver look like a hero, but at the same time, humble you with raw power and grip.
I CANNOT break this car loose. I have tried. It lets go for a split second, grips, and surges forward through corners. Parking lot donuts are not on my list of priorities with my expensive diff.
I admit that I am biased at this point. I am simply spoiled in the STI and love the AWD in any and all weather. And yet, my heart belongs to my old ACR. I loved that little shitbox.
Drive both cars ALOT, then choose.
My choice was EVO MR or STI. I drove them for an hour total and chose the STI. Damn my wife for not trading in her truck on the EVO!

That would be sweet as hell. There is also the Central Valley Coyotes Arena football team. Tickets to those games are hella cheap too.lol Us Central Valley guys need to hang together. Maybe When I go back we can go to a Fresno State game or go watch the Falcons, Good times good times.
That one club I mentioned is pretty much show cars. Then there are a bunch of "solo neons" around. There were a couple of other neon clubs, one of which I belonged to, but they pretty much broke up.Shoot man. Fresno used to have a huge Neon community. Alot of show guys but still...
