Double-take

Post by Nutmeg » Fri Aug 17, 2007 5:49 pm

Driving back from the airport after bein down in Palm Desert for a week (Hot weather blows) and see this red Integra some way up the highway. But apparently it wasn't an integra at all. As we pass it, I look over again, but to see it covered in honda badges. The guy had a huge afro and a hat. You guys complain about Toyotas with Mopar stickers? Yeah, this one even had the "H" on the front bumper. I almost believed it.

Either it was a Honda/Acura Integra or it was something else. if it was something else what was it.

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

True Honda Integras are RHD though many in the states have been converted so it is hard to tell when an Acura has been converted to JDM.

Similar situation in Canada with GM vehicles when I visted in the mid-90's (US- Geo Metro, Canada- Pontiac Firefly; US- Chevrolet Corsica, Canada- Pontiac Tempest). Plus seeing Dodges badged as Chryslers (Dynasty, Daytona, etc.).

not quite. Skyline is a turbocharged 6, 350/G35 are NA. If it is a G35/#50z with those badges it is pure rice.

...seems some people didnt get the post i put

it was interesting when kids were badging their mock up type r tegs "honda"

like if u were to badge an acura rsx a honda integra....

or taking a hyunda tib and badging it tuscon or what ever that is

i just thought he was bringing some new flavor into the rebadge japan mix

i realize its the same car just badged differently and has a different engine.... it was just unique to see that

and i dont see how thats rice but hey to each his own
