SHIT-tastic day at work

A couple weeks ago i got bumped up to being the tire man since our other guy got hauled off to jail for violating his probation. Anyways yesterday an injector went out on the tire truck. WHICH REALLY REALLY SUCKS!! This means we have to use our flat bed truck that has no lift gate or air compressor. So getting tires in the back of this thing is a huge pain in the ass cause these tires aren't light. We had a loaded truck down with 2 flats on one side of one axle in the rear. Since we don't have a compressor we tap into the air tank on the trucks. well to do so we have to kill the truck & put in an air hose fitting. Got that all put in & went to crank the truck so it could build up air pressure......................well needless to say the bastard wouldn't start. Incase you forgot, its loaded!! The drum needs to spin to keep the concrete mixing, otherwise it starts to cure. We tried jumping directly on the start with a screwdriver & nothing. we even tried it on the solenoid on the firewall & still nothing. We don't have jumper cables on our truck cause well we are tire guys. We called a mechanic to come help us & he coached me into moving the lever that controls the drum to the stand by position. Then try starting it all over again. Still didn't change anything. He shows up almost an hour later with cables & we get it started..........................this is the good part. Remember me saying i moved the drum lever...........................well turns out that position was too far, so it was in discharge mode! We poured out almost 2 yards of concrete in the parking lot of a gas station!!
--CLIFF NOTES---
- Old tire truck broken, using a non tire man truck
- No air compressor
- rigged mixer so we could use air tools
- mixer no start
- moved a lever
- got it started
- discharged concrete into parking lot
