i am the only person in the shipping/receiving department in the parts room for my uncle's company. we specialize in fixing trucks. big trucks. BIG trucks. some people cant understand that and bring in a pickup and ask them to fix it and then get mad when the service manager laughs at them. my OFFICIAL job title is "bitch" - no, i'm not kidding, it's on the paperwork. i get paid decently, but my $433/month car payment takes a chunk of it. and my g/f is sick right now and hasnt been working a whole lot.

I'm a 'office specialist' aka 'paper pusher' for my local college - Oregon Tech. I'm working on special projects/data entry with a little customer service on the side. Its a long-term temporary position (6+ months) and there's a chance I will get bumped up to regular staff status after that. Been working here for a few weeks now and I'm liking it so far. Pay is nice too
Azianmopar05 - I worked at AutoZone for a day or two as a PSM then left cause I hated half the people there. What do you do there?

I am just a student right now. I go to Michigan State University, and I am studying Biosystems Engineering with a cognate in Food Engineering. I have applied at many places, but most say that my class schedule is too hard to work around. Next semester I will hopefully be working in the MSU Dairy Plant getting some good experience for the real world though. GO GREEN!

I ended my IT career as a Mission Critical Technical Engineer for Hewlett-Packard.
...then for something completely different I drove long haul transport rigs for a while where my official title was Driver or as many in the industry called us Dwellers...LOL.
...now I have settled down into accounting for a web hosting/software company where I still get to play with computers and offer support.
I hope my next career move is retirement into the so-called "Golden Years".

Yeah I don't make shit either, never really have. I bust my ass hard at my current day job too, by far the hardest job I have ever had, and no benefits, paid holidays or vacation either.
As long as I bring in $600 a month I can survive, I have gotten good at living frugally, I don't need much money.

Computer salesman at Best Buy. Only good thing is the discount. What BBY pays +5%. Those $35 USB cables for printers? $3.
I get paid crap too, I'm up for review mid month, but after holiday season I'm gonna be working for a local computer consultant firm.
