Sand Dunes + Dodge Neon = ??pics??

Post by ZeroChad » Wed Nov 07, 2007 10:16 pm

Ok so about a month ago I took the neon to the sand dunes. Alright, so I didn't actually go on the dunes with her, but went in a dune buggy instead.

Fun times! I had never been to the dunes before, actually I thought they'd be kinda lame. Cmon sand dunes in Michigan? But I was wrong. It was a kickass time. On with the pics.

So you wanna make it up the big hill huh?

Well, you're gunna need some traction. These are drag slicks with custom hand sewn paddles.

My buddies buggy. Runs on a VW beetle engine. That thing can book. Wow

His GF dad's Buggy's Engine. (what a mouthfull) Looks pretty sweet.

The Competition
Huge Ass jeep. Not even the biggest one there, but one of the cleanest. (Conf flag in the north?)

Yes this is a dodge pickup. Yes its been cut in half. Yes part of it hd been removed welded back together, and had the engine rebuilt. Yes it was a monster. (shorter wheelbase = no bottoming out on the crests)

Best pic I had of this buggy. $72k why? because it has an LS2!

A final pic of on top of a hill.

If you guys have never gone to one of these parks, I recommend it. My first time, and a lot of fun. There were a crap ton of quads and a few dirt bikes there too. (Crazies 2 wheels on sand!)

Looks like a lot of fun, too bad we don't have that kind of stuff around here. That I know of at least.

Heh, alright so it's not ten hours. I think from here to Spokane is about eight. It's two and half to three just to get to Seattle from my house.
