Never liked srtfourms from day 1. When you have to pay to become a vender and all that, it seemed less about being a community for information and more of a way to make money. I mean we are all here because we all enjoy a similar thing and want to share information. That site has less and less usable info other than "omg how many colors can I paint my stock wheels". I hate that site however the unfortunate thing is we (as a community) need a place for srt-4 owners. Lets face it, the after market before the srt-4 was around sucked. The srt-4 furthered aftermarket into our cars and a place like srtfourms kinda helped that. I just wish they were not all dicks about it.

theres actually no shame in that. I know many sites that do donation runs and its perfectly fine. There are always a few that may disagree but they need to realize that not only is it voluntary but that it goes directly into the site.

btw phpbb 3 should be going gold soon.

Yeah, I've been keeping tabs on it... before I put it up on here I'm going to test it to see what sort of things aren't going to work with the upgrade... things like the Garage.

the latest betas of phpbb garage already work with phpbb3. There is a problem however, the latest beta has a security issue thats being worked on right now.

i cant think of anything else you have on here that needs migration. There is enough features in phpbb3 to be sufficient for everyone.

There are a few other behind the scenes things that are in the database but the two major things are the garage and birthdays to make sure I can migrate it over without creating any hick-ups.

wow, so i was over ther for my daily browse through the for sale section and i came across this in a post where a guy was stying to sell a portfueler...

^^^There have been a few issues with scammers over there so they have a certain format to follow in the for sale threads.

^^^Yea, I agree it's pretty extreme. The thing that gets me is when a scammer is "exposed" the mods don't really do anything about them. They will ban someone for speaking their mind before they ban someone for scamming another member out of their hard earned cash.
