I know this is not the right forum to post this but the other honda sites suck.
well Im stuck with a 92 b18 teg 2dr hb. with some moderate bolt on mods like hedman headers and such. My friend had installed a god forsaken 6" monster tach that sits on the dash fully functional and its only purpose is the shift light.. The stock guage doesnt have a shift light so he added the tach for the shift light feature. I went over to superautobaccs and did some looking and saw a small 3"L 1/2"w shift light that i could replace the monster tach with.
All i really need to know is how could i set up a shift light to turn on at a preset rpm. i know i might need a msd tach module and maybe the zex relay for nitrus and use it for the tach.

MSD windo switch might work, those are kinda expensive though.

yeah tell me about it. I really hate Honda but just couldnt turn down a free teg. what makes it even better is that its stick so you already know that you would have fun driving it.

Get an MSD tach driver, and then a pill switch I think it's called. Maybe try calling Jegs when they're open, or even Modern Performance.
