I had a friend in college that took his truck to Maaco, he prepped it and everything. The paint had runs in it, got all over his windows, and it felt "grainy", like sandpaper when you touched it. He didn't even buy the cheap job either, he got the ~1k one. Please don't support Maaco, I understand they are franchises, but quality paint shops will never associate themselves with them. Also do not bring your car to a dealer for body work unless you actually see an on-site body shop, as they whore out the work to the lowest bidder and keep the profit. I know one guy that did the body and paint for a Honda Dealership AT HIS HOUSE! Whether you're paying thousands to get the work done or your Insurance is, please go to a reputable body shop.

Exactly, and from experience the best shops are the little guys like your Joe's Collision that has been around for 20+ years!please go to a reputable body shop
I know first hand the difference between the little shop and the big name since my hood was done at the big name shop and they promised to repaint it because of the crappy quality almost a year ago......
I got a discount at the little shop and payed full retail and the big name shop....
