Dear Anthony,
After throrougly reviewing and discussing your photography, I am pleased to inform you that our Selection Committee has advanced your entry, "The Sky Remains The Same As Ever" to the semi-finalist photo round in the International Open Amateur Photography Contest.

Also, we would like to publish your photo to our upcoming hard-cover book, Endless Journeys, because of it's unique perspective and concept you have enclosed with it.

Anthony, you should be genuinely proud of your accomplisment. Of the tens of thousands of photos that were submitted, only a fraction can be moved into the semi-finalist round and be published.

Sincerely,
Jeffrey Bryan
Managing Editor

My guess would be a plane. For a shot like that I'd assume you'd leave the shutter open for a few seconds and the plane happen to fly into the shot, which is really a cool effect.

Congrats from a fellow photog! Getting your work published is awesome.
