This is a 98 dodge neon HO, 5spd and it did come wit the WING WEST body kit and 17'rims and yes dat wing is from an ECLIPSE. What do ya'll think a good deal or what?

I would drive it, and make it look a little more stock.

I don't know who told you it's an H.O ( Iassume you mean High Output) cause thats just a plain jane 132HP SOHC.

Sorry, but I say it looks a little ricey, and not really taken care of. But $400 isn't bad.

$400 bucks for a running car is good regardless of what it looks like. As it has already been pointed out, that is a 132 SOHC... i had myself a 1998 HO. Anyhow... its a NEON and that is a bonus here Have fun with it, but please of all things ditch the wing.

Cant go wrong if you only paid 400 bucks for that.

i would..
1. get rid of the wing.
2. change up the exhaust and take that fart can off
3. Just do a normal tune up to make sure everything is in good shape.

But congrats on the steal

I'm not a fan of wings on any street car so I'd take it off and sell it to someone else. Keep the kit but get a replacement front, or repair if it's fiberglass like it looks from the picture. Needs paint anyway so...for $400 you can afford to do that at least!
Other than that get a complete tune-up with brake and suspension check, and have fun, the best $400 you've ever spent I'm betting!

nice...I guess I'm not the only one who got a deal. I got my 98 r/t for $500 though it was stock and it good shape.

I would take that wing off as soon as possible. Sell the rims to buy a new front and rear bumper. Put some steelies on it and call it a day.

That's a good deal, I can't find one for less than a couple thousand. I don't see anything majorly wrong with it, the spoiler and kit aren't bad. I just hope you kept your 2gn because it's probably alot more dependable.

that is not a Wings West body kit, however. the front is some form of an R-34 and the rear is a Blitz style. i am not sure about the sides.

Got a great deal there. I personally think the wing doesn't look too bad on the car. I would either tune it up a lil, or sell it for parts. Might make some more money back that way unless your looking for a DD.

Sweet buy, deffantly now a wings west kit, but you can sell the kit alone for 300-400 bucks..lol good buy.

Not bad at all for $400, especially since it runs and isn't in too bad of shape. The kit is pretty ugly and would need repair but you got one heck of a deal. I paid $600 for my 95 MXT Sport and the engine needs a little work and the paint is peeling.

part out the body kit you could probably make some cash then do tune up clean everything up realy nice

Hey guys, its been awhile since i last been on here.But i enjoyed all da comments as always, and as for the car the wing did come off and sold it for $90 to a ricer. I did give it a major tune-up,as for the rest of it, well its all still da same. Im saving up for a motor swap, and either go as a sleeper or use my uncles hooh-ups and get a wide body. Im still thinking on it.

not bad for $400. plus, you recouped some money from selling the wing so thats awesome too.

I raced it on an 8th mile 3 times, and all 3 times i hit 11.5 @ 62mph. I wanna do da actual qtr mile, but our track isnt open yet.

11.5@62? What was your 60' time? That seems quite slow for what it should run.
