I didn't mean to go off.. but it bothers me when someone NOT in the military makes comments about it like they know what goes on...

I have relatives in the military. And a friend that was killed in Iraq. That's why I stand where I stand.

I'm done now.

Indeed I am sorry for your loss...

You have relatives and friends in the military.... still doesn't mean you know what goes on. I thought I knew....(2 brothers - and my dad are/was in the military)... You don't know what goes on until you sign up. I have tons of friends that have been to Iraq and back.. unscratched.... this is war so of course sometimes things happen and it hurts us all.. but the military is NOT a death wish....

of course it is slighly different for a single parent in the military.... so its not always the right equation

first off, i want to thank everyone that has donated to me from the bottom of my heart. you guys have helped me pay a couple bills and keep plenty of food in my place for my daughter. I really cannot express the gratitude I have for the people here. I dont think i could find this kind of helpfulness anywhere else.

Second, as stated by a couple people, lets keep on topic. I dont mean that in a bad way, i just dont want this turning into a big arguement about anything here. if it keeps going this way i will have to ask diablo to delete this topic.

I never said anything about the military, I basically stated the fact that this topic is starting to turn into an opinionated argument about the military. Take it somewhere else, this is not the place for it.
stay on topic...

well i think i need to have diablo either delete this topic or the posts not related to it removed. I dont need this turning into an argument between people. so if you see your post deleted you will know why.

I wish I would of asked for a hand out.....
NYSEG = $1200
NYS taxes = $800
Personal loan = $3500
loan was to pay bills....

I know the feeling he is in, and guess what...I did not have the balls to ask for help. I gave him cash because he is in the boat I am in. BUT, remember this, when his lil child ask's... 2GN.org WILL be mentioned that they helped out, and the people he never met prsonsally that he calls friends, took his lil daughter to McDonalds and the playground, or took the lil one for an ice cream on the 90degree day. Thats what I consider worth the donation!
Dude, get some pics so we can see the lil ones....2GN is an extended family to me, and maybe to you. Give diablo a family pic so we can get a pic of who we are supporting......

thanks blackroseracing. she is a cutie and means everything to me. And yes i take care of her more than the car. I have actually sold most the stuff off my car and put it back to stock to take care of my daughter, plus i almost wrecked it at a racing event a couple months ago, i decided no more racing the daily driver.

Man I know how you feel I'm sorry I can't donate anything but I'm going through what you are going through with my family living paycheck to paycheck, actually the paychecks are already gone by the time they get here. But I still thank GOD everyday for always providing shelter ,food/water ,and clothing. Hope something works out man. I was going to see if someone could sell their neon with payments and very little down payment but your situation doesn't want me to take the attention away you need all the attention you can get. God Bless :D
I love dodge neons

update to my situation-

well i started my new job monday. not bad at all. the twelve hour shifts go by pretty quick. Since i will work about 84 hrs every 2 weeks at this job instead of the 76 hrs at my other job i will have some more money.

I have had to make a tough decision though to move out of my place now since i cant afford to pay the full rent and cant find any roommates( i am picky). Since my daughters mother and i are still on good terms she is letting me rent from her. she lives with her mom, who is cool, and they have a furnished basement i am going to rent. that will save me about $500 a month in bills. So between that and making a little more money i can start saving up again.

I had to get rid of my project crx though. which kinda sucked, but i am ok with it. I kinda lost interest in the car after tearing it down and discovering it had a bent frame. I kept the good stuff off of it to sell on ebay to recover a little money.

I have decided to re-resurect my plans to build the neon up. I figure by the time i have myself in a good financial situation the neon will be payed for and srt-4 swaps will be a little cheaper.

I want to thank everyone for your help and encouragement thus far. I am not out of the woods yet, but getting closer.
