anyone work for verizon wireless?

gf broke her phone today... i call it more of a manufacturer defect for building phones with cheap thin plastic but i doubt that will fly for getting a replacement.. she closed the phone normally and part of the hinge area broke.. so just wondering that if i wasted my time going to the store what they would tell me.. pay full price for a new phone? dont have any of the insurance options for the phones so...

the 'my account' site has not been working all day so i cant even go on and see what theyd charge to upgrade the phone right now.. not even a year into the agreement

man.. back in the day i had one of those motorola flip phones.. dont remember what it was called (it was a generation or two after the saved by the bell phone :p) but i whipped the friggin thing against the side of an above ground pool, it broke apart and all but i put it back together and it worked fine... phones these days.... shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt

they gave a new phone no questions asked. they probably deal with enough of the broken hinges that they dont even bother trying to screw the customers... everyone on the net has had their hinge break in the same place on the 8350

i have never had a customer come back about a broken hinge on the 8350. But i don't doubt it's happen to alot of people...

Most stores are good about swap outs.

I work for an agent. But we require over 18 with 2 years selling experience.

Verizon i am pretty sure is just 18 with 1 year of related experience.
