Yeah, it does sound awesome with the stock exhaust... It's almost unneccessary <SP> to get an exhaust now with the meaner sound coming from the engine compartment... The roar is crazy... Never would have thought that the intake could change the sound of the car that much. Dah da da da dahhhh... I'm lovin' it.sxt_003 wrote:what did i tell ya huh??
I bet it sounds awesome with the stock exhaust huh? Man i'm thinking of finding someone with an R/T muffler for sale so i can quiet down my exhaust a little more so i can enjoy my intake a bit more.

I hear ya' there... I was out the other day when it was raining... Not bad, but enough to worry me with the new intake. Then I was driving behind a car going 10 mph under the speed limit throwing the curtain of mist at me... I ended up getting paranoid and passed them.aquariuskid2001 wrote:now just stay away from giant puddles.. they roam the streets in packs whenever it rains hard.., and their natural prey is a car with an intake....
Something about... Uhhh, hydrolock... Scares me... Dunno why.

yeah but you also gotta remember that he had the filter right next to the tb... there is a way bigger opening under the engine compartment than the fender.... so even if water does get splashed into your, its gona bounce around the walls of the fender and probably not make it very high
i wouldn't worry too much
