I can't take this anymore...

Post by danman132x » Mon Aug 25, 2008 12:58 am

I want an srt-4 sooo bad

There are now 3 white srt-4s in town, one of which has OEM stripes over the top, and another a BFMIC
2 red srt's
1 orange blast
2 black srts
1 solar yellow

Everytime I see these, my heart sinks. I think my car looks great, but I want the power. I've been in a few and its just an amazing feeling. The whole push you in your seat, getting up to 150+ quickly. I have the money to get one, but that money is going towards schooling, which is more important at this point in my life. It just sucks so bad sometimes, especially when I see some srt's for sale around the same price I paid for my 2003 Neon R/T (9300 2 years ago)
Okay, I'm done talking now..

What the good conscience says: Keep the money for school.

What the bad conscience says: Buy the SRT for $9300, sell the Neon R/T for a couple grand less and still have some money for school.

Both sides of the coin :) I love my car and couldn't imagine anything else. I've owned it since it had zero miles on it and that crazy feeling of throwing you back...still exists 102k later.

^^You have 102k miles on that car?

They are fun but you have to get school out of the way first. It's nice to hear someone being responsible with their money; unlike so many people I've seen lately.

School has to come first, because that will dictate the script for the rest of your life. The car is only a material thing.
There will still be clean, semi-low mile SRT4s around after you graduate.

just do a swap. alot more fun and you learn alot and alot cheaper.. and you can keep your good looking car. they can be very reliable as long as you keep them maintained.

Agreed. Save your money and start looking at houses after school or even just property.
