Viper Sighting!

Plain and simple, there are no nice cars in the town I live.

My parents were out of town this weekend, so I was driving my mom's BMW X5 around. It's got a V8, so it goes. Anyway, driving around, I see a silver, Dodge Viper SRT-10 convertible. Needless to say, I'm stoked. Then, turns out, we actually stop at a red light next to each other. Well you know what I'm thinking.

So the light turns green, and go a bit, with him staying with me. When he realises I'm actually trying to keep up with him, he just nails it and TAKES OFF.

Ah it sounded so nice! Note: This wasn't a race, I never went above the speed limit; I just wanted to see it go vroom.

So, I've decided that's a really nice car. I'm bored and felt like posting.

did you clean the car when you got home? if not, now you got something to do to cure that boredom problem.

Nice sighting.

A guy around here has a twin turbo viper. Its a GTS, not the newer ones. 1600HP of badass-ness.

Take a trip to Bellevue and just drive up and down 405 and 90 all day when it's nice out. Everything from Vipers to DB9's.

There are a BUNCH of vipers around here. Along with some ACR's but that might be because I live right next to the DCX World Headquarters....

Actually, it's usually the "idiots" driving around them that cause more problems.

ive seen 2 gtr's around here and a g35 with a gtr front. sadly no vipers yet.

There is a guy in my home town that has a Hennessey Venom 1000 Twin Turbo Viper. Best part is they put the stickers all over the car so you KNOW for sure what its got if you couldn't tell by the looks already.

WesTech Auto, which is literally right around the corner from my house, does custom work on Vipers quite often. Mostly full-out race cars that run at Elkhart Lake in WI (RoadAmerica), but I've seen some street stuff go through there, as well.
2 weeks ago, a bright metallic orange Viper w/white stripes (on trailer) was there, along with a red/black one that was being driven. Last weekend, 2 race trailers (semi-truck size) were there with Viper Racing graphics on the sides, but I didn't see the cars. Next time I see some, I will get some pics.

I guess the perk of living in a rich area of long island includes seeing vipers, lambos, bentleys everyday. There is a guy I see every morning with a yellow srt-10. I guess its his daily driver!?!
