Things have been slow on the forums today. While going though all the resent posts and unanswered posts, I noticed my post count. I don't pay any attention to it normally, so I was kinda surprised to see my count at 3033 (4255 total)

I know I post here a lot, but damn. So I started wondering...going at the rate I am, will I hit 4000 (5000 total) by the time I hit my anniversary date? (It's Dec 20th 2008).

Like I said, I'm bored and I haven't done a poll before. Keep in mind, I don't care how many posts I have, I just wanted to kill some time

I don't think so. I'm amazed I don't have as many posts as some people.

That is something else I thought of. I'm kinda wondering if anyone really cares about post counts (other than TNK...where is he btw?), or is wondering why folks who have been on this forum for less time than others have higher counts than they do?

I know that OT posts used to count towards your count (rather than showing up as just a total) so many of the old timers here have some amazing counts.

Yep, I'm an addict I would have said whore, but I don't do any real short posts. Unless I have something useful to contribute, I just don't say anything.

But my typing has really improved over this past year!

Also, no, I don't think you'll do it. You're averaging just under 10 posts per day. You'll have to up the ante if you want to make it.

I care about post counts.

The first couple months after joining I just kind of lurked. I mostly stuck around Dodge Forums until I learned better. Also, this time last year I didn't even know how to drive a standard transmission.

Only us mods can see true post counts, Josh you actually have over 7800 total posts.

I cleared 11,000 total posts. I'm guessing I did that just this past week since I was doing nothing but sitting in a hotel room in the evenings.

It's as accurate as long as none have been deleted. Not sure how editing works, it's been a while since I've fucked around with an Admin CP.

That is interesting...I don't have that ability (or if I do I don't know how to access it).

I see I have 2 "who is he again?" votes. I wanted to put that in there to see if Sean would use it. He never lets me down

But I agree with most of you that I won't hit that goal. I really can't whore it up that much And yes Yo, I am still reeling from the attention that has come from that thread

John, its as simple as searching for the persons total posts. We have access to all sections where normal users do not.
