Cold Air Intake + Water puddles question...
Just a quick question, and short story, but today I was driving out to Wal-Mart and it had been pouring all morning. It was kinda just drizzling enough to where you don't have to use wipers (I usually don't anyway.. Rain-X saves lives lol), but as I was accelerating towards the turning lane for Wal-Mart I guess I hit a small water puddle and splashed it.. as I did, my RPM's spiked for a second. The side that I hit the puddle is where my CAI Filter is at so I'm wondering: Should I be worried about water damage or did I just hydroplane?...

Probably hydro'ed and spun the tire a little...

So you should only really have to worry about you CAI and water if you submerge the filter.
If this is on an SXT you'd practically have to submerge the car. If it is on an SRT their filter is much lower to the ground... (and in my case... that is roughly 3 inches).
splashing water, rain, kicked up water will not find itself in the engine, so there is no need to worry about that (even though I still do when its really really bad out from time to time).

I have had an Iceman on the 1st gen for like 8 years never had a problem but then again I try to steer clear of puddles unless I can tell how deep they are. FYI Iceman intakes sit almost even with the plastic air dam on a 1st gen
