For those that dont know what it is....it's an HBO series about vampires and the story of Sookie Stackhouse. Adapted for TV from the Charlaine Harris series of books about Sookie, starting with the first book 'Dead Until Dark'.

What i'm curious about is season 1 ends next sunday...but I was checking out the extra stuff in HBO OnDemand and watched a half hour long video titled "True Blood-Lines: A New Type", in which, HBO POSSIBLY hints to just how long this series will continue...

If you watch it, two of the people you hear from are part of the show's crew. This is what appears on the screen, tell me if you think its possibly a hint of what's to come...

Producer/Writer, Episode 108 "True Blood"

to date there is no other series called True Blood ever made, and there's only 12 documented episodes in existence so far...but this leads me to believe there's a whole lot more planned at the very least, and maybe even already in production or completed.

I myself am completely hooked on the show and CAN NOT wait for the next season to start... It's going to be a grueling 6-8 month wait...

i guess your all knowing eye does not extend to television shows, so let me school you here

the 105 and 108 are not episodes one hundred five and one hundred eight, they are the production codes.. season 1 episode 5, and season 1 episode 8

and even if you are going to claim you already knew that (which undoubtedly you will), then what exactly are you confused about?

TRUE BLOOD-LINES: A NEW TYPE
A special featurette about the all-new HBO drama series 'True Blood.'

theres only 1 show, and its been renewed for a second season.. so theres nothing really to get confused about.. at the very most this 'special featurette' might turn into a few "episodes" of information, but not its own show... like Jericho's Countdown was some fill-in information about the show and more background info but it itself was not a show.

Oh snap! Why are you guys up so late on a Sunday lol. I've been meaning to catch a few episodes. I watched a making-off before the pilot aired, and thought is sounded pretty sweet.

If you're digging the vampire thing, check out some Ann Rice books.

ann rice books and true blood.. amazing...

im a big fan of vampires, they are just interesting to me...

im not a fan of hbo running a series and then canceling it... like john from Cincinnati.. i was so amped for the new season to start and then they said they were not going to continue it... sooo bummed..

but hbo sundays FTW

true blood, entourage, brittish humor for a half an hour and then the life and times of tim... so worth it
